Hello,

I have been using bitcoins for sometime now, and this is not my first order with bitinstant, but my first that has taken this long.  When I check the status of the order it just says "loading" and never changes to anything else.  The log shows that the coinapult and mtgox orders were loading, but there was no activity after that.  I have emailed the support team at bitinstant twice and no response.  Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how long it took to get resolved.

Thank You

I am having the identical issues.  Multiple previous purchases have been fine.  Today, no mail from BitInstant after my payment and still no coins.

I figure this must be an unusual day for them...

Per bitinstant site, "Pay for Your Bitcoins in Under an Hour".   I've checked almost every hour, and it's has been 12 hours, but no progress.  I don't get even a single mail from Bitinstant.  Cry That makes me wonder if I ever see my money again.  Was I been scammed by con artist ?   If I was scammed, a few thoughts're going through my mind:

1> Losing $200 is a decent money, not a giant, but it's a loss.

2> Setting aside money loss, it's a loss of fun here.  I have a bunch of folks around me asking about bitcoin.  They are exciting and waiting for me to prove that bitcoin stuffs are real.   And, I try to convince them that bitcoin is a real deal.  Guess what?  So far, they have been looking at me like an idiot, and like I'm scamming them as well.

3> Funding to use bitcoin is a big flaw.  There is no easy way to fund the exchange.  The easy and fast options are from other virtual currencies.  But to get other currencies, you have to fund from real dollars, but again that's not easy.   You will face the same hurdle when converting from dollar to that vc.  The fastest method ever is to wire to a far-away and strange offshore bank.  And guess what?  that will not guarantee that the fund will come to your trading account neither.  No receipt, no acknowledge from destination.  Bitinstant seems to be smart solution for this problem, that's why I picked it.  Now, I wonder if it's too good to be real.... under one hour ?  .....

That's just my thoughts for now.... I'm still hopeful..... Again, my transaction info is below....  Let's keep hope alive......

Yes, same to me... I paid at CVS, via Zipzap/MoneyGram to Bitinstant..... And Zipzap already confirmed that Bitinstant got money......  So, the question now is: will that stack of $200 (crisp) will travel to Mt.Gox or not.....

For what it's worth, I have used blockchain.info with ZipZap in the past with no issue. The fees are reasonable if not cheap, if memory serves - order of 5% between both services combined.

Interesting...you can go from zip zap directly to blockchain.info?  Seems like that would be at least faster...how do you do that?  And still no bitcoins from bitinstant...hoping they get their system fixed sometime soon this is very frustrating!!!!
