Fashion tv is a good show, but it is not only about the display of new looks and trends its about the details and design and more complicated things. We can learn more things about new styles in fashion ranging from weird concepts to classical to modern. But there are things also i hate about fashion tv and that is the fashion show itself wherein some models are displaying their tits and their nipples coming out, it seems its no longer a fashion show but a semi xrated film.

If you're always looking for some interesting faces, characters and shapes you probably look in fashion tv and doing sketches for feature drawings.
So for me fashion tv is a field for artist impression

in my opinions fashion tv is just boring channel because the dresses they wear is so unpredictible that u cant wear but they show as a fashions trends in different seasons. but except summer dresses my best part is 2 pc bikni   so its my opinion about this channel dont take it porsonally  |

I never watched this tv, I'm not interested in a fashion. Mostly clothes showed on fashion shows can be weared in daily life, it often looks very strange. I only like to watch Victoria Secret bikini show  |

Do not watch and do not advise others. You dont really understand my opinion I'm not a new clothing desigher - I'm an 2D artist. I'm looking for people with interesting faces (and where exept streets and friends I can find them? - at fashion shows many beautiful people). I sketh these faces and later I'll drawing pictures. Example, I saw beautiful girl with oriental face and in future this faces will be figure at painting "Chinees girl with the peaches") or it will be the new character at game. So fashion tv it is not the only commercial for big industry it is an inspiration for people and dont advise to stop watch this like it is a biggest enemy in the world)) |

There was a time when people used to watch fashion Tv when the Internet was in its early stages but now a days who has got the time to watch Tv in the first place with millions of channels and a busy life schedule i dont get the time to watch Tv nor am i interested in watching since i could get anything at my finger tip without any boring advertisements

Fashion TV focuses on glamour, class which means money of course. It's not about beauty but its about business. In America fashion trends has caused more waste pollution since Americans wants to be in the trend always they dump tons of wasted clothings in the trash. Hope fashion TV displays and teach responsible clothing so this pollutions may be lessened if not eradicated. |

Mostly, Fashion shows are for the "Fashion Interested High-Class" people and Celebrities, not for the rabbles, obviously. They wear those strange clothes for special occasions, not for their normal day routine. But you are right, the clothes seem more disgusting than fashionable. I hardly digest those Tv Fashion Shows. Also, you were right about models aren't the most pretty faces (especailly, in fashion shows). It's because faces are the least interested in the business, they would care about the way they walk, their bone structure and sizes of chest, hips, thighs, waist and legs more than face. A relativaly normal beautiful girl with awesome body would beat a more beautiful one (even if she was a beauty queen), unlike advertisments products where beauty is a main factor. |

Now I don't have much time to watch TV and whenever I do I don't watch for such contents.
But there was a day when Mobile phones and the Internet was rare, No easy porn during my school days and there were topless photo shoots on fashion TV.
FTV was the first boobs teacher to me.

You may believe it or not but they design what you will be wearing in the next 5 to 10 years. For me it's interesting, although as I said I watch this channel for the background music mostly. I don't like music channels because they promote bands I hate. Have you seen The Devil Wears Prada btw? Even if you don't like fashion it's a great movie you might like it. Below is one of my favorite quotes from the film: Miranda Priestly: 'This... stuff'? Oh. Okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select... I don't know... that lumpy blue sweater, for instance because you're trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back. But what you don't know is that that sweater is not just blue, it's not turquoise. It's not lapis. It's actually cerulean. And you're also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns.
