I think it's safe to say the arrival of cryptocurrency has been well and truly announced.  The ringing of the announcer's bell is reverberating around the world and as a consequence the odds are a lot higher than they were a month ago that those who are in most desperate need of what Bitcoin offers in terms of protection against tyrannical manipulative regimes will have heard of it by now.

This is one of the reasons I am not too concerned about the feedback loop that seems to be going on with the continued boom resulting in more news coverage resulting in more interest resulting in the continued boom!  Even if it does result (whether tomorrow, in a week, a month or even in a year's time) in a pretty substantial fall in price relative to fiat I would consider that a price worth paying for the news saturation we have seen in the last week or two.  The likelihood is most people know somebody who knows somebody who has heard of Bitcoin and that may just be enough for it to emerge as a substantive tool in protecting those for whom access to it would make the biggest difference in their lives.

The other advantage of it having happened so fast - especially if it continues on this trajectory for a month or two longer - is that governments simply don't act that fast other than when it comes to war.  No government will want to be seen to be the first to take draconian measures - which could as many point out also backfire - which means they need even more time to prepare if they've got to negotiate with other world powers to make a concerted effort to 'do something'!

My guess is by the time they got around to that it will be too late in that there will be too many examples available to show how Bitcoin is playing a critical role in improving the lives of the most oppressed.  Remember also the US government not only gave up on trying to control cryptographic protocols but also released Tor into the wild knowing it would be used for nefarious purposes but accepting that as the cost of the technology being available to those fighting tyrannical regimes.

I think in many more ways then one things are looking up

As to OP's post, pardon me, I've tried reading your post several times and this is what I got. Correct me if I'm wrong, you were talking about how cryptocurrency spread through out the world fast that the government wasn't able to take action to stop it's spread. I got confused because of redundancy of words and sugar coated words you used to explain what you are pointing out.

What is so confusing here? Op is clearly to state that more and more people in the world are learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general with time which is why mainstream adoption is not a dream anymore.

I think the OP is wrong on saying that no government can stop bitcoin with this adoption. In fact, government still the authority to judge bitcoin in the end. If they wanted to close it out then it will be closed out. Yes, it's true that massive adoption is not a dream anymore but if it's the will of the government to ban bitcoin then bitcoin will be banned.

I got the whole point that OP is talking about people's awareness and fast cryptocurrency awareness and spread. Just wondering if ever I missed out some important point about the post.

I think the OP is wrong on saying that no government can stop bitcoin with this adoption. In fact, government still the authority to judge bitcoin in the end. If they wanted to close it out then it will be closed out. I agree that the government still has the final say on cryptocurrency adaptation and legalization. If it says crypto is banned or illegal, we have no choice but to abide.

It's still under development, everything will run slowly. the use of Bitcoin cannot be forced because everyone has their own beliefs. Give an explanation comfortably, because when someone is forced to use bitcoin it cannot last long. our job as people who are familiar with Bitcoin is to provide good exposure and what benefits can be achieved. Our activity will make the development of bitcoin on a positive track.

Soon, all people will open their mind to accept new technology because after the blockchain, artificial intelligence has already begun and it still in the development.
People will not just stay to see the chance in their eyes to have a better life, but they will try to join and involve in the cryptocurrency. We still in the process of the mass adoption and the government still debate for accepting cryptocurrency or not but in the future, they will agree that cryptocurrency is a new way for the people to have a better life.

What do you mean by superior technology? Bitcoin doesn't have a superior technology over its other counterpart the only problem is with the developers of the coin, that's why they can't overrun bitcoin in the market.

Just imagine a scenario where no merchant would be allowed to accept Bitcoin or any other Crypto currency as a payment option. Just imagine if a government implement a law that make it illegal to own bitcoins and if it is found, it would be punishable with jail time. 

So do not get too exited about tyrannical government not being able to stop Bitcoin use, because they can still make it very difficult for people to own and use their bitcoin, if they really wanted to do that.

I do not need to imagine it though because I face it in reality. The government in my country is not allowing people/merchant to use bitcoin as a payment method. It is strictly prohibited because the only legal payment method is our fiat currency. Anyone/merchants who break the rule can be punished but it is OK to use bitcoin for investment/trading purpose.
I cant imagine if in the future the government will have a new rule like what you say "illegal to own bitcoins". If it is happening in the future and many government apply it then it would something bad for bitcoin.

I think no one can turn their backs to the fact that cryptocurrencies are here to stay... like it was said on the OP, adoption and awareness are rising and the transition from fiat to digital will be a natural consequence of the digital world....
Nevertheless, we need to stop dreaming and face the facts. If any government wants to ban crypto, or private coins, for example... they can just do it... it is an illusion to think that it is possible to escape them... even if you have a special tech for privacy that they cannot identify, if they ban crypto, the whole market will turn into a dark web market and there will be no massification other than for illegal purposes...
Besides, there is still the option to create a government crypto and control it... just think about the possibilities...

Not really, although it is open source, if people don't want to learn, they cannot use cryptocurrency with the right, and they will leave behind the other people. The cryptocurrency has been spread in many places, and right now, I think its only waiting for the mass adoption globally so the cryptocurrency can become bigger and can reach all people in the worlds.
Soon, after all, people from all country used cryptocurrency, we will see a new whole world that will help our life better, and we can have a new source income that we can use to make money.

The adaption of cryptocurrency is starting I can't believe that it is starting right now. Cryptocurrency will be the internet currency in the future and it will be our alternative currency that will change how we spend and how we transact on the internet.
