Well because of you use analysis technical for making prediction of ETH's price, let me use different ways and i will use analysis fundamental for it.
All of us know there is problem with ETH's network (hacking problem and stolen coins that be builded on ethereum network) that is why they (developers) needs hard fork. That is make down trend for long term.
But the developers and investors of ETH, they have a lot of money, it is mean the bullish trend for short term strategy trading.

Well.. it is interisting discussion, but i have a question are you developer of ETH?
You are like worry about ETH's network and hacking issue, i saw on your last statement We hope to solve the problems of piracy.
Actually i don't too care about this problem because if there are chance for make profit in ETH, i will take it and if my analysis is wrong, I would not hesitate do cut lost.

Forget the long against btc until correction happens or eth pump takes place... I had gone with buying at the $6 aginst usd and current price already locks in 30%. Still good value now but no later than this week to take advantage of Jan and Feb where both currency correction and eth recovery will result in good profit margin.

It's hard to buy eth as of the moment considering its reliance on the price of bitcoin which is very bullish right now, so if this trend continues it might be better to short the current price of eth.

The price is still in the downward trend. It is better to buy when the price reverse into the upper trend, maybe in a few months.

and although 0.0017 seems far, with another 10% drop of today's price things aren't looking good for ETH at all. and specially since all of the whales big buy walls are being broken there seems to be a massive dump happening. just the other day i saw a 600BTC buy wall melted like butter

I agree with you, but ETH compared it with ripple in its beginnings, ETH will happen something similar, I hope I was wrong

The down trend may continue till february 2017 since there is no strong fundamentals to back the project now. A lot of people have been burnt already so for the price to go up to $10 range will bring new hope for investors another thing to consider is the Elephant in the room, if the Bitcoin rally continues strongly I expect the price to hit below $5 because there will be no BTC to support the price
