Trying to figure the turn around time when ordering direct from BFL
If you received a jalapeno from a direct order (not ebay) recently
would you mind posting the date of order and arrival date?

I ordered tonight and they already charged my card which kind of sucks, other companies
charge when a pre-order gets filled.

Has anyone successfully cancelled their pre order before their number comes up and retrieved their money?

Yes. Just mail the office or call them asking for a refund and they'll return your money.

I'd love to preorder one, but it seems unlikely that they will get shipped out any time soon. If I order now, by the time I get it, an ASIC probably won't increase my income by as much as I would like.

I noticed they doubled their price lately. If it was same day shipping, I think everyone would have bought the 4.5 GH/s at $150.

got my money back. refund went back into paypal this morning, I requested the refund yesterday.

BTW - an email from BFL to me said that shipping for my order would have been July / August
thats 3-4 months away. Can you imagine the difficulty of mining by the time it would arrive?

Unfortunately for some people they will have been waiting a year for their order.  Good that they're refunding, but obscene amounts of profits foregone given promised delivery date.
