Anyone want to let me and everyone else know what's going on with the TRC network?

They need to set TRC as the same as Bitcoin just faster. Bitcoin difficulty cannot jump around more than 4x current difficulty

I think TRC has merit, a faster Bitcoin sounds attractive, but this miner resonance thing they have where the difficulty can jump up and down by massive amounts is just killing it,

Mining TRC is so frustrating, one day I can mine 2 blocks/per day solo, and the next day I can't even mine 1 single TRC from a pool

Its madness.

Someone Jumps on with a ASIC and the network diff just jumps all over the place, then they leave and the diff is so high and then everyone else leaves, then the diff hits super low and loads of people jump on to get easy coin, and then it shoots up so far everyone leaves again.

It's not 0.0GH/s,
not sure what it is, but TRC-p2pool is currently at ~2.2GH/s.

The problem is, that the total-network-hashrate is quite low,
so when a few ASIC-owners join, they push the difficulty into limits that the rest of the network can not handle once the ASICs leave.
And that's exactly what's happening the last couple of days, when the difficulty is low, ASICs join and push it high up to the sky, then leave and remaining miners need hours and hours to create a single block (and probably also leave because it's not profitable anymore).

Well its been far more consistent mining Byte, and at least the diff can't just jump around like mad because its a Bit clone. Which I'm surprised was never attempted before.

Good points. Well if people want TRC to survive they should mine it to help out. Especially if they have some as they won't be able to send in to anyone or trade it at the moment!

The funny thing is, it works on Bytecoin just the same way.
As long as the total-network-hashrate is low, ASICs are a threat.

Hopping in with 20+gh. I have no ASICs (yet) but it's the best I can do. Who's with me?!

The big difference is the difficulty can only Jump 4x every 2016 blocks.

TRC the difficulty can jump much much higher.

Whoa, thats a lot of hash power for a non-ASIC!

ORLY?

Let's see, here's the last TRC-diff-switches:
2542.17 x4
10168.683 x4
40674.735 x4
162698.94

Sure, on Bytecoin it needs more blocks to raise the difficulty, but it also needs more blocks to drop, so it's basically the same problem.
