Hi, after recent developments in the UK, namely the mass surveillance of the average joes internet usage.  I have decided to constantly use a VPN (pureVPN) to stop my ISP from tracking every site i visit.  However my full node is no longer useful to the network as it now wont allow incoming connections.  How can i get round this?  i think the IP address i am assigned is the same every time i login if thats any use.

thanks

You have to have control of the VPN and be able to open and forward ports. You need to be able to allow traffic from port 8333 on your VPN to port 8333 to your computer.

You could also run your node over Tor and allow incoming connections to a hidden service that is started by Bitcoin Core.
