Set up a swapfile if your system has less than 1.5GB of memory:

fallocate -l 2G /swapfile

chown root:root /swapfile

chmod 0600 /swapfile

If fallocate doesn’t work, you can use dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1024 count=1024288 instead.

Initialize swapfile automatically on boot

Pull the source code from github, or upload it yourself:

apt-get install nano

Add this at the bottom: /swapfile none swap sw 0 0

Install all required dependencies:

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

apt-get install ntp unzip git build-essential libssl-dev libdb-dev

Pull the source code from github, or upload it yourself

Nestorcoin is a lite version of Bitcoin using scrypt as a proof-of-work algorithm.

It looks like Litecoin.

Developers work in their own trees, then submit pull requests when they think their feature or bug fix is ready.

If it is a simple/trivial/non-controversial change, then one of the Nestorcoin development team members simply pulls it.

If it is a more complicated or potentially controversial change, then the patch submitter will be asked to start a discussion with the devs and community.

The patch will be accepted if there is broad consensus that it is a good thing. Developers should expect to rework and resubmit patches if the code doesn't match the project's coding conventions (see doc/coding.txt) or are controversial.

You should remove the second "USE_UPNP=1" ...

Untill now, i really think this is a scam coin, you should talk about the aim of the coin ( If there is one other then mining ), i loke the website also, very nice, smooth, responcive design, with amazing red color ...

What my firend is trying to tell you is :

=> Why you didn't posted in the Altcoin Annoucement section, and he is right.
=> Do you plan to do a ICO for your coin ?
=> Are there bounties for translation, social media, signature campaigns ?

And by the way main.cpp line 1088 :

i was referencing the Order Type Paid in the ann before the build instructions. Looks like it was a coin that was purchased w/ building instructions, why else would he post daemon build instructions for mining when you can mine to your wallet :p and he has the linux daemon link anyways :p

Anyways ya, looks like he forgot to remove the Order Type Paid that was probably at the bottom of his invoice above the install instructions :/

It explains a lot of unsual text in the ANN, and why the dev wants to hide the 21Mil premine. I had a look at the mining, guess what, 12 mh/sec with 2 miners, someone needs money here ...

This is sad, today a coin can't get listed for free, it must pay listing fees. The problem is not the fact that it is generic, but the fact that the dev is not here.
You are right regarding ICO, i think it is the first altcoin without ICO since a long time here.
