Here is how he scam:

First he creat a new selling thread of amazon gift cards than he instantly locks the thread with an auto buy in it HAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS METHOD wow!

So even if the thread is locked you still can read it and you still can click on the auto buy  

he is making good money with this and i think its a bug and should be stoped like block all links inside the thread or a notification to warn users that the thread is locked and shoudn't buy

Do you honestly think that the owner or mods on this site are getting cuts from a petty scammer such as this guy?   That's one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.   Bitcointalk is worth far more than any amount of funds that guy could ever afford to pay.

This is the great thing about bitcoin.  It's the wild west and you have to watch your own ass.  The sheriff is with his deputies at the saloon playing cards and getting intoxicated.   Bring your brains and your own revolver, lest the mustache-twirling bad guys bend you over the watering trough and make butt babies with you.  Then they take your bitcoin.  True story.

That was not directed at you.  It's a paraphrasing of Howard Stern's father.  What I'm trying to get at is we all need to use our brains and not get scammed, because bitcoin doesn't have protections built-in.   So you cannot be stupid, naive, credulous,  gullible, etc.  That's for all of us.

Let me make it simple for you,Scams and Scamming is not against bitcointalk's rules.So better yet as Pharmacist said,know your own shit .I too in the past have tried reporting such threads but that ended up only to my dissatisfaction.You want to get rid off them real bad? Watch out for the number of times he bumps the post,bumping more than once in a day is certainly against the rules and if you report the post then,watch him get nuked instantly.

The  only way this will stop is if all scammers find this forum and they all start doing the same scam and the place is filled with locked threads and scammers

You cannot stop scammers from scamming a dumb head donkey. The locking of thread is really a serious problem that i just understood. this way no one will able to comment in that thread that the service is fraud but people will still be able to see the thread.
