So, I ordered two XFX 5830's at tigerdirect.ca.
Now, they were $130 a pop with $30 rebate. Plus tax, figure about $110 each.
They're sold out and on back order.
I emailed them regarding an ETA and got this:

The item was tagged that we will not be having this kind of item any more, however a scheduled delivery by next week was posted to somehow cover the backorders placed against this product. We would like to inform you that delivery listing was not a guarantee, we are still waiting also for the manufacturer to fulfill their delivery. In the event that delivery will be successful, we still might be able to ship your item couple days after the delivery was made to our warehouse. You have the option to cancel the backorder item, wait for it to be available or we could assist you find a comparable replacement. Just advise us.
I'm going to be heading to the US in a week so if I wanted to get some GPUs without the tax, I'd have to order soonish so I could bring them back up.
Debating getting 2x Visiontek 6870 for about $200 after canceling my 2x 5830 order. Both have lifetime warranties.
So, what would you do?
