What is better? To gamble or to invest?

Investing much suggested for me. I'm a person with no luck in gambling even in real life. I much more suggested buying altcoins or bitcoin itself and hold it for long time.

THat is a good choice. ALthough as most have mentioned in early pages of this thread, investing is also a sort or way of gambling. But if you do good on it, I would say good luck to you and may you find that greener pasture in the future.

Not all gambling games are based on luck. Dice is purely luck but poker and sports betting are skilled based and if you carefully learn how to use your skills in those gluon can succeed. Secondly, gambling is also gives assurance if gaining more profit if you play your cards well. In fact gambling could be more profitable in an even quicker way than trading so what are you talking about?

I will strongly agree on that.if we only lean into our luck .we are just like wasting and the chances  of making profit is verry few.and there would be a possibity that you will loose everything.thats how gambling is it can ruin your life in a short period of time.so then for me i will also choose investing as a good  source of income so investing is good to choose than gambling.

According to me, gambling and investing both are a risk. In gambling, everyone knows that winning our bet is based on our luck, even the skill base games also we have to believe our luck. Investing is based on which site you have invested. Suppose if it is old and many people are invested on that site, and they are getting profit from that investment then we can take a risk and invest. Suppose if it closes in the middle then again it is a risk. So which risk you are ready to take that you can choose.

I think investing is a good option rather than gambling unless you are ready to loose your investment for a big profit.
Anyways if you are saying Ponzi scheme investments then it's a no because they are like gamble.

gambling investment is never a ponzi scheme most sites are transperant about their profit earned and it is gambling there are more than million addicted gamblers out thete who are ready to give easy profit to the site. About gambling you are right we will mostly lose our whole investment it's hard to make profit

Indeed both gambling and investing are risky. gambling is more risky and if lucky one can win huge amount immediately, but when one invests in a project/site/product it takes time to make money, there chances that one can lose some/all the money invested. bitcoin is the greatest example, those who invested back in the day are rich now.

Correct, If we need an entertainment, then we should go to gambling and shouldn't expect profit from those games except fun. But if you're looking for a profit then should invest in few different assets like in bitcoins, casino investments, real estate investment, gold and .... I do prefer investing than gambling.

I think there's demo gambling too which they can easily gamble with virtual moneys and not your real money sintgat you don't loose but rather derive your fun from. The demo gambling I'm aware of is in sports betting but I don't know if it's for other gambling games.

To me gambling is a form of investment butbif you don't have what it takes to grow your investments through gambling then it's better you find a commodity in the stock exchange or forex and invest. It's safe that way.

Yes sure investing and gambling both involve some risk and some choice however when betting on sports or any gambling game there are no loss-mitigation strategies, you lose it all. This is the difference between investing and gambling. When you invest in bitcoins for example, it's close to impossible to lose all your money, bitcoin would need to have a value of 0$ for you to lose it all. You can also always set up a stop loss or a sell order to prevent further damage.

If you think that investing is more risky it is a part that i agree with you it just because of the many scam sites. But dont you think gambling is more risky to loose all your money.? In investing though got lost but it is just only a part of your money because you just place a certain amount of money to invest while if you go on gambling if you loose you will not stop to gamble and unfortunately lead you to be addicted  to loose all your money and things.

Besides gambling proven as destructive while investment is constructive especially when you have become an expert.

Ofcourse it's better to invest than to gamble. Yes it's both risky but I thing it's better to invest and it is a better way. You must study first where to invest. Make sure that you invest in a good company or good thing. Ofcourse it's money. You can't trust it to anyone without knowing the people behind it. You must take time to study and learn things.

at first glance it seems that the investment is very difficult, since you said that you need to study a lot of circumstances before investing. But I believe that investments are less risky than gambling. In a game of chance you can lose everything, And investments Can simply do without a minimum income. You should read, he don't said that invest is better than to gamble. He said investing is more risky than gambling. But agreed, both are risky, no doubt in it. But it is wrong, investment is more risky than gambling. Risk in here in all business field, but if we talk about only gambling, then nothing is risk-full place here than gambling. Gambling is full of risky all the time, but investment has less risk.

They are both risky actually, but gambling is much more riskier than investing. Because in gambling once you become greed you there is a big chances for you to encounter losses of money unlike in investing anyhow you can maximize your risk average.
