I sometimes collect some LTC from faucets and gamble on bitsler.com with them. Bigger amounts will be invested in BTC and promusing Alts or ICO's then.

Investing in Alts or ICO's is not so easy job to do because of a highly volatile market and many ICO's are not doing that great recently because of BTC price boom. So you need to study carefully those altcoin future uses and devs behind the development then only invest otherwise easy to lose money in those new coins investment.

There are some ICO's when they hit on exchanges it will dump hard so for me it's better to buy a coin already listed on exchanges and have a potential to pump in future.

For me investment is better than gambling the reason is I am not that much lucky and the second reason is I have not that much experience to gamble. I agree, it is always best to invest, since we can analyze stuff and study the risk that is involved and mitigate it if there is available then evade or avoid the one that has high risk.  Aside from that often times investment is bind with legalities and stuff if we are investing in a company unlike gambling which can eat our money in one day when we gambled it and suffer loses.

Investment is indeed better than gambling in the long run because the chances of you getting some profits in return is higher than the chances of winning that you could have in gambling. It is all about realizing or finding where you are good at in order to be successful, if you are lucky in gambling then do it, and if you are good at investing then do it, simple as that, you don't have to push yourself to do something that you don't even know what you might lose if you are going to do it.

It sounds like that you are more into gambling than investing money. But my practice is someone different from yours. I do  gamble sometimes and  if I really  earn a big profit in return obviously my next step is to use most of it for the sake of investment as  it is much less risky than using the  profits again for the sake of trying my luck. In this way I'll make some more money and use it again to have fun through gambling even in online Casinos.

Gambling to have fun is not at risk at all? I'm not sure about that. The risk remains, even if you gamble for money or to have fun, you will not be able to eliminate that risk.
