I think it is very stupid to bet on some sports games that you do not even know about it. You need to have some knowledge about what you are going to do and sports that you going to bet on. Why ? Because it will help you to higher the chance of winning a game and you can earn some money with it. It is never a good idea to put all your money in something you do not know about and wish the money to return to your pocket. It barely happens dude so stay away from unknown sports.

Well I think doing random bets is not a good option, because the edge you might get comes from your knowledge and analysis.
Otherwise it's like a casino game. The house should have the edge, since they need to balance their books, and odds are probably a little lower than they could be.

Only if there were someone trusted giving me the hints about the game. If I must go by myself choosing a team to bet, I wouldn't do that. To choose a team, you must know what you are doing, if that team or player is really good, the statistics and odds, or you will probably just waste your money.

Even though trusted member giving tips, I don't bet on any sports because I will miss the fun part of it. If I guess the result and watch the sports then I will have some thrill. I always bet only the sports or player I know their earlier performance.

No, it is very risky, even with the sport games that we already familiar sometimes we still can miss prediction and lose the game and with the unknown sport it is like betting based on luck, but i did ever try one time and luckily i won the game, i choose the team with the smallest odd and it didn't feel too good, i didn't get the excitement from that match

I think there is a need still for a research , whose team got a highrst record like that. But for me i think its better to bet on sports that you really knew there is an excitement and it feels like your supporting too the team you put your bet on. I did try it on boxing and basketball. They both lose that time so It feels im one of them im supporting their team anyway.

I could make bets on sports that I am not familiar with. But where is the fun in that? Maybe you should know what your priorities are in sports betting. Is it for the money or for the fun? For my I like betting for fun most of the time, so the bets I make are on the sports I follow. But sometimes I get a good tip for an NBA game. When I make a bet on it, it is for the money. Indeed. There are only few people who bets on the sports they dont even knew. Some maybe are rich eough that they tried to find their luck or just waste their money. Its good that your betting in the team you supporting it will shows that you trust them and there will be regrets no matter.

If I don't know about the game and players/team that will compete, how could I bet on them except there is an experienced tipster about it, but at least I should know about them (players) before decide which team have best chance to win the game. Then we have to going through some research and analyze their track record.

Yes, Sometimes i am betting in sports that i do not even know the rules how to win or play, But before i bet i  check first the tipster thread here in the gambling area and i just follow the tipsters bet, most of the time if the tipster is really pro then you will most likely win.

me too i always check joca and carles and sometimes vella and betadviser those are free tipsters that have good reputation providing free tips and giving me some insight regarding to a particular game that i don't have any idea especially soccer and tennis i'm not familiar with those games only nba that i know how to review but because i see good advantage following their picks if i have spare btc i keep following their leads.

Betting on sports that you don't know about is just as good at throwing you btc away.
You do not know the better team and how the game is played and if they go into overtime then you lose.

there are two things that people can do in sports betting:
1) knowing the games through and through and then make bets based on their experience and the information they have based on the history of the teams and their players and who they are facing. i believe this is the best way of betting on sports.

2) obviously not everyone is a sports fan, so if they want to make bets they still can do it randomly and treat it like any other gambling game like rolling a dice and enjoy it or the other method is following some tipsters around and use their knowledge for free or for a fee. but i personally never liked this option.

I played dice but found that it is easier to lose at that game then at betting on sports.
You pick a team that you like even if you don't really know them but you do know the sport and how it is played and you just pray that they win. That's it! But with dice you can lose 10 rolls in a row and not have a chance at winning as I done and never gone back to playing it.

If I am bored, I may bet on sports that I do not understand about. My bet will be small because I know my chance of winning is similar to flipping a coin. No matter what is the outcome of my bet, I will analyse my bet afterwards and think of things to lookout for when betting on the same sports.

I think betting without knowing the sports it's a waste of time, unless you get someone good telling you where to bet. Like using a tipster service.
There are a lot of tipster threads here, and we even have a tipster championship, so I guess that could be a good place to start.

I thought about buying tips, but the problem is that I never know if they are really good, so I could be losing money on the bets and on the service, so I guess that looking at that Tipster Championship would be really good, since you get to see their profit, and since it's a competition, they can't lie about it, or just show good results etc.
