stex2009 I have no way to check who used it. You can try and find it out if its possible which I am pretty sure it isnt since most probably you used it in store. Even if it was used online they might not give out details for customer privacy. Also there is ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF that you didnt use it!

Also, your past feedback has got nothing to do with what happened in this case. Like "Zepher" just posted, he was scammed by a legendary member. There is always a first time.

Now as much as I want to believe you, there is no proof at all and it is your mistake if someone is scammed using your account. Also if you cant keep your accounts say like you say its been hacked twice now, you honestly dont deserve the green trust since it will be hacked again right? Please pay for what I gave you/ your account. Thanks!

I give $10 for the inconvenience my account has caused. Please note, I did not use your cards and I notified you on time to use your cards somehow to prevent the scammer from using it.

If you do not want $10, I will be ok with the red trust. and, I can buy some gift cards from you too if you like !

Anyway, I am out of this. If you can conclusively prove that you did not scam this person, I will remove my neg.
The prove he has provided isn't good enough either !
What about the usage of GCs . I never shop at Kohls, I have not used his GC, they are not even worth $10 to me.

You clearly state at 03:49:42PM that your password had been changed. There is no evidence of this on your trust page. Seclog does indeed show: November 29, 2016, 03:42:11 PM - stex2009 - password changed though.
I changed the password when I realized the codes were sent. I saw emails on my phone, but used a tablet quickly to change my password first. I wish I was quicker, but I had no idea what was going on. I was really hoping John's GC would be safe. With GC in my possesion I can guarantee them to be safe. People have sent me thousands of dollars of stuff and have trusted me, this $125 is nothing. The hacker just used my password to login. He also deleted the conversations with various members he was having. I wish there was a way to check account login details.

I dont believe you, either way you have to reimburse the payment because it was on your behalf that the scam happen.

I'm sorry, this is all bizarre logic.  So if the forum gets hacked, individual users are responsible for the hacker's actions?  Why should the victim be responsible for damages just because the perpetrator isn't known?  Why not hold theymos responsible while you're at it?

Having said that, I don't usually buy the "I got hacked!" routine.  The whole Master-P debacle soured me on that, but there have been so many other examples too.

This is not any bizarre logic because there is no proof that stex2009 is actually saying the truth. Saying his account was hacked is no excuse at all.

You can keep the 10$ and the red trust bro. This is stupid. Anyone could scam and then offer 10$ to remove the red trust. Thats no way! I want my 161$ back or make a real offer.

Honestly,

Most of these Kohl's offers have been linked to fraud.

Well, which is it?  You're saying he didn't get hacked, but if he did get hacked it's his own fault and he still owes you.  If it's the latter argument,  I think blaming the victim is wrong and you're using whatever argument is most convenient.  Chrislandin is right, deep discounted gift card sales are shady anyway.  I've no sympathy for either one of you.

Ok I am saying he DID NOT get hacked and so he should pay up.

Now even if we agree for a minute that he got hacked, and he says it has happened before as well. Then ofcourse its his responsibility. Because if its not whats gonna happen when his account is hacked again the third time and someone is scammed again? He cannot just get away saying it was hacked.

I entirely agree. Each and every user is responsible for taking the necessary precautions to secure their account. They are also entirely responsible for any illicit activity from their "compromised" account. If this was not the standard, we would have hundreds of users claiming they were "hacked" to steal from users on a weekly basis.

It could be hard to believe for many, but I never stole the cards. Get any real investigation you can, I will bet my money on it.
I have been here for years and will never do this. This is not my game. I also understand what John is going through, but giving $160 is too much.

Most of these Kohl's offers have been linked to fraud.
These are 100% fraud cards.

I agree to some extent, but you should always try to play safe and small. Never trade huge amounts right away.

Now what if I show fake paypal transaction proving I sent the funds to John (fake PP account and everything). Would you guys have believed on that? Come on, think again !

First of all 161$ is NOT a huge amount. And secondly are you serious about the paypal thing lol? Because wouldnt i have the chats to prove I never asked for paypal or sent you my id? And you wouldn't have any such chats Huh

This has become ridiculous.
I agree with devthedev and OP. You are responsible for your account, stex2009.
Now you are talking about faking PayPal tx's? Lol.
You don't come across as entirely trustworthy from where I'm sitting, sorry.

Same.
Does the red matter? I offer $40 for something I did not do. The many Sherlock Holmes here have made a loose verdict that I am a scammer. What a joke.

What you think? For others who are new to trades, yes it matters.

Why you are offering Charity, if Red does not matter/bother you then don't do.

You are indeed as you are defaulted on Money of OP.
If you say Blah..blah..blah.. , then First please understand that you have the sole responsibility of what happens with your account , and incase you feel that your account was hacked then you are super newbie as you cant put a strong password.
What a joke.
