- Denomination of 1 BTC
- Completely new three-layered hologram featuring coins we've minted (including this one)


Each coin includes:
- Air-Tite capsule


Auction Terms

- Shipping is 45$ per coin, it can't be combined. (Express, fully insured and tracked)
- Buyer should pay within 48 hours from auction end. Coins will ship on the next working day.
- Starting bid for each coin is 1 BTC
- Bid increments should be of at least 0.01 BTC
- Bids don't include the 1 BTC needed to fund each coin, it should be supplied by buyer on top of the wining bid, these coins will not be sold unfunded.
- Buyers should bid for each individual coin like #5 0.5BTC.
- Numbers auctioned are: #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 #10
- There is a reserve price for the coins, if at the end of the auction the $ equivalent of the winning bid BTC is not equal or higher than 1050$ the coin will be re-auctioned, unless buyer adds the remaining BTC to reach 1050$. (This is exclusively to cover costs)
- Due to the high demand, we are currently limiting the auction with a maximum of one (1) coin per customer.



Auction ends Monday, December the 12 at 20:00 GMT. Each bid in the last 20 minutes extends deadline by 20 minutes.

The only objective of the "public reserve price" is to protect us from sudden changes on Bitcoin price, so if for example auction ends at 1.5 BTC just when price goes to 200$/BTC there is no a huge loss. But if it goes to 1000$/BTC then 1.1 BTC winning bid is enough...

As you correctly say, its a bit pointless to battle until reaching the reserve BTC equivalent, but we thought that bidders would acknowledge that...

Because reserve is in $ and not in BTC, and by how the BTC price has been increasing lately it could be considered "Unfair", 1 BTC at the start of the auction could be 1050$ at the end. Terms were clear since the start, current reserve price equivalent is barely your 1.35 BTC Bid... That was put with the best of intentions, like the one (1) Coin per customer limit. Nothing of that benefits profit maximization for CI...

Given the apparent "hype" an huge demand that existed for this coin, and judging by the result, I am sorry to confirm, as I already announced, that this might be the last coin minted by Crypto Imperator self Initiative, as always open to private mintages.

I wonder how many people will pay the higher $1,050 price, vs how many coins will go back to auction.  I imagine it may not be worthwhile redoing another auction if its a large quantity of coins.    The market seemed to decide the value was worth around 1.1 to 1.15 BTC.

That may be the case but as CI stated, the current bids (except for coin #1) would mean that they'd be making a loss on each coin.
To be honest, my views are that if there's a reserve then it's best to start the auction at the reserve price and go from there.
We'll see what happens in the next day or so...
