I'm a bit surprised there haven't been more people hopping back on to help out, I guess miners are starting to following the profitability on dustcoin pretty heavily. It'll be interesting to see how the next week plays out for TRC. Anyone holding TRC does have a bit of incentive to get back on the coin so their TRC don't become worthless.

i'm curious about the long-term effects of those easy-to-read profitability websites too ..

for example .. what would happen to PPC (just an example, saw its hashrate fluctuating a bit recently, with intense market activity), currently between 700Ghashes/s and 1Thashes/s, if price went down a little bit ? miners leaving ? getting longer to mine blocks --> more miners read dustcoin.com ? --> more leave ? --> what's next ?
Sad

people really having faith in a given coin (bitcoin or whatever) should just mine that coin (either occasionally of permanently if they can).

again .. time will tell but everyone knows those chains just can't work without miners .. (i hope they know, reading from some of them on various exchange websites, i doubt that though)

And when it becomes profitable enough that a greedy ASIC miner jumps on back on board, then what?

yep ... if hashrate stays as low as it is currently ... there's no chance it can fully return to normal...

i really don't understand why trc holders don't mine it Smiley whatever...

so how long will 20 blocks take?

If Coinotron is any indication, three days at six~ hours each...if lucky. Could take a week, who knows.
