Got a quick question i am currently running the latest bitcoin-qt on a old p4 computer and remote mining to it, Question is i know it can solo mining via cpu hashing and by adding gen=1 in the bitcon.conf file i can tell something is happening via the task manager so i am assuming it's hashing , thing is i have no clue what it's hash rate is. I know ages ago the old bitcoin client used to show the hash rate in the client window. Is there anyway to get it to show up in the latest version?

Thanks in advance..

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
