Hi,

Below I've copy/pasted my introduction from the Newbie forum.    In summary, we're buying Avalon ASICs, at a fair value to current and expected rates.  We would be willing to pay $20,000 per batch 1. I saw pre-orders on ebay selling for 19-20K but that all looked scammy.  If you're in the US and have an ASIC let me know, we'd be happy to fly someone out and do the transaction in person with you.  We're serious in what we do, and really look forward to this market. If you're outside of the US we can have that set up as well, but please PM or Skype, or whatever is easier for you.

If you think $20,000-30,000 in cash is a poor valuation, please let me know and we can negotiate. We will give you the most money for your ASIC. period.

We're looking to spend 40-50k right now on hardware,  to leave adequate operating space for the casino and some other infant ideas that hopefully can help drive the business forward.

I'm one of the owners at Rethink Networks, we're a top ranking SEO and internet marketing firm.  We currently rank #3 nationally for "SEO Quote" , and #4 for "SEO Service".  Prior to offering our marketing services commercially, we've been utilizing it internally for own businesses for nearly a decade.

We have established businesses in adult, drugs (legally, nothing shady like pharma) ,  mortgages, financial planning and a huge affiliate network.   I love expansion, and providing a helpful, intelligent service more than anything.

We also own a network of video game services sites, that are run and managed by US citizens (Panama for legal purposes),  rather than underpaid, overworked Chinese sweatshops.   That's what initially had me interested in BTC a few years ago,  offering it as a checkout option on our gaming sites, which also rank very high for their respective game keywords.   With BitPay I see that opportunity, so I'm looking to have that worked into a properly converting checkout.

So that's progressive and should be fun. We will offer BTC to the MMO gaming audience in a crisp and organized way, and we'll also be offering additional incentives for people paying in BTC.

My real interest though is in getting a proper farm established so we can generate BTC and start offering services to the community specifically.  There's always room for an exchange with proper service and CS skills,  but the legal hurdles have me a bit hesitant for that.

We're thinking Casino, and Sportsbook,  which is a model we already had built prior to BTC taking center stage as it has done.  But that is done a million times already as well, so not too exciting.

What do you , as bitcoin enthusiasts, want to see? What type of services do you want offered to you, or for bitcoin ?

Anywho, so that's who I am, and that's what we do.  If any of you are looking for internet marketing advice,  please feel free to PM me or email me it's ryan AT rethinknetworks DOT com.  My skype is also my username. Please say where you came from so I accept it

I feel like I'm late to the party, but I look forward to getting to know this community and its goals very well!

Ryan

The only legit sale that has happened has sold for 20K cash and that was a steal. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157887.0

Avalons are making close to $7k a week right now. No offense intended, but anyone accepting your offer is an idiot.

Well, like I said the price would be negotiable.   And I did state we had 40-50k to spend on hardware.

Obviously the price of BTC is variable, and right now it's fantastic,  these machines are in high demand, and obviously sales would have occurred outside of retail.

Though calling people idiots doesn't seem too enlightened. Smiley

Enlightenment doesn't have anything to do with it. Someone would literally be mentally incapacitated (the definition of idiot) to accept an offer in that range. In 9 days time, they would have made the money back that you're offering them. I don't mean to be offensive, but it's almost insulting to offer such a low amount.

I do believe there is a difference in assumed value and a pile of cash.  Alas what do i know?  Wink

If someone has one and wants to sell it, I'm sure I can give you the most money for it, but it looks like a "farm" will not happen right now Smiley

Good luck everyone

I agree but you would be surprised how quickly you can turn Bitcoins in cash these days.

I think his comment is apt.   Someone would unplug something for the "certainty" of three weeks worth of KNOWN revenue?   Yes, that person would be an idiot.   Since there are only less than 150 people that have avalons right now, perhaps one is an idiot.   It is possible that someone would like to sell you their cash machine so that they can get on the BFL pre-order list.
good luck.   Let me know if you find PT's last customer.

You just considered a currency that's value fluctuates 15+% daily to be known income.  I think that's unwise, but that's a position you're welcome to hold.

Viceroy, I don't even know what to say lol, you clearly don't know how threads work.  You survived 200+ posts with that kind of etiquette, I'm sure you are a success among successes!

I know, look at that... I'm using all 200 plus posts to point people to me as a buyer of mining hardware.  Gosh darn this social media technology I don't know if I'll ever get ahold of how it works....

This forums rules allow you to prevent troll posts, but the rule require that the OP post that in the description BEFORE people start trolling.  Guess I'll go on back to my bridge and chew some hay.  (Edit the first post and lock the thread through the 'additional options' button and then put in a disclaimer about hijacking and trolling your new post and you'll have the control you want, if that's what you want.)

As a buyer you may think $20k is fair value, but as a seller your offer is an insult. Avalon is making 4.5 BTC/day at the newly adjusted network rate. In 3 months that's 400 BTC, so that's a good starting point. I would only accept BTC offers. Any other payment method is not worth the risk.

Viceroy,

Best of luck in all of your endeavors, as previously stated I bet you're a blaring success.   Smiley

Skye,

Yea I really didn't mean it as an insult or as a steal. The price is climbing so rapidly,  you still have to gauge a real world valuation to it outside of BTC speculation. A pile of cash is a very nice thing to some people, but I believe if someone had the foresight to buy an ASIC prior to this market rise that they wouldn't really be interested in selling it.   Still, I have to let any potential person know that I'm buying.

I am a cash buyer of ASIC mining hardware.

I have BTC to send to escrow service today.

Will pay US or BTC or bullion, COD.

I will pay 1 btc more than the OP, GUARANTEED!

Hit me up if you have ASIC technology to sell.

And that's fair. Don't get me wrong, the more ASICS in different hands as possible, the better (for decentralization). If you manage to get one, more power to you!

Try thinking of the machine as a call option then, and try to price it.   the premium is how much you pay, the strike price is almost zero (the electric) and the number of contracts you have degrades but is around 4BTC per DAY currently.  and the VOL adds to the value of that call.   it is complicated but you can model it.   Or if that does not work, then just model the degrading income stream using assumptions and put a REALLY high discount rate on it.    You get astronomical numbers.
you are a few days late.  There was a guy on here from MA that was lamenting how little money his machine would make and he had not received it yet.   but instead of trying to rip him off, people helped him with the math.
