Here is the running joke now on Reddit, "When will Vitalik schedule another hard fork to save Bo Shen's ETH and REP?"

The fall of Ethereum started when it did the sloppy, irresponsible hard fork. It has sent the wrong messages across the community. The people who supported it were the one who had vested interest in the platform because they were holding ETH. They believed they were protecting themselves from the attacker. In truth they were hanging themselves.

this is just an attempted to stabilize the vaporware eth. no smart person who is smart enough would hack and dump the crap on poloniex. the story the hacker(s) dump these coins on poloniex. any reputative exchange like polo or kracken would exposed this person or handed information to authority, also limit withdrawal from none verify user is $3,000. all don't add up but then again majority of these dumb bagholders are dumb anyway to realized anything.

Maybe Bo Shen had a verified account and they had access to his 2FA, then just dumped from his own polo account and withdrew elsewhere.

If it correct and all of the news was spreading by a lot of sources was being FUD.
I don't think he will make a big joke like that. But anything can happen.

No, there were supposedly dumped on Shapeshift (https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/806133021686562816), but there's still no official statement from Poloniex.

You posted a green candlestick, which shows that buy support is forming. This is the real graph (as you probably took the screenshot while there was a dump):

Currently there is 150 BTC buy support down to 150k satoshi, so I suspect that a lot of buy orders were removed, though I didn't followed the market. But you can't tell that REP was definitely dumped on Polo.

ok, so let's start:

You posted a green candlestick, which shows that buy support is forming.
i'm not arguing price action... i never intended to say nothing about trend or something like.

This is the real graph (as you probably took the screenshot while there was a dump)
i dont know if you have experience with graphs, the screenshot was taken at the moment i was writing my post. Yeah, i've captured just a small part so here's a bigger one.

As you can see, unlike you(using 15m), i'm using a bigger time frame(H4), simple as that.

Currently there is 150 BTC buy support down to 150k satoshi, so I suspect that a lot of buy orders were removed, though I didn't followed the market.

again, i'm not arguing the direction the market will take, i dont care if there's 1BTC, 150BTC or a thousand btc as buy support right now.

But you can't tell that REP was definitely dumped on Polo.
Yes, i can.
i just can't tell for sure if the REP dumped came from the hack(it could be just a panic sell, but i dont believe in that). Looking to your graph(15min)... at ONE candle 150BTC volume traded and the lower executed order was 10k satoshi per REP. again, all you have to do is look to the graph.

Oh, my...

1. It doesn't really matter, when you took the screenshot. Your candlestick was green and not detailed (and one can argue that it was dumped down to ~7,3k satoshi).
2. I am using 15m simply because its more detailed.
3. How can you argue if REP was dumped on Polo? Of course that most of the movements happened on Polo, like 70-80% of REP's trade volume is happening there. I think it was obvious that I meant the stolen REP. Smiley

Anyways, future will tell.
