Hi guys,

Been browsing a while but thought I'd register a new project I am working on. It is a small ticker app, where you add your favourite currencies/markets and it updates the feed using's API. It is not finished yet, but plans include:

  • Alerting mechanisms (email, pop-ups, etc.)
  • Bid/Ask Alerts (Above/below a threshold)
  • Bitcoin Portfolio feature, add transactions and track your P/L
  • Android/iPhone integration

It's still in the early development stages, so I'd love to hear what you'd want from a desktop application. It's coded in Python and will be available for Linux, Windows, and OS X.

And a teaser, because everyone loves teasers:

Is something like this available yet? I have such a hard time finding out what the value of a bitcoin is right now. I am searching all over the forum. Too bad it doesn't do it right in the menu.
