Stratum or Getwork?

I'm a bit confused,
What should I use Stratum or Getwork, what's the best?
And what is the difference?

getwork is basically the old way of the pool asking if the miner wants work every few secounds
stratum basically is the worker asking the server for work when its finished each share

stratum is the best one as it reduces stale shares (dont get paid for these) and reduces bandwith on the pool server

stratum is going to be the only one soon so use it
