Only ones with a special serial number are. You can go to TD bank and order these by the thousands if you wanted too

Nope, as mentioned above, you can walk into a bank and ask for a stack of them. some history: "Typically the $2 bill is worth its face value. Special $2 bills have been made in recent years, however they are not worth anything more than face value on the collectors market and most current $2 bills are not worth much more than their face value." http://www.2dollarbill.org/2-bill-history.htmlthanks!

I've seen people selling them for 4$ in various places before. Seems like a solid plan actually.

"A solid plan"? For what to double the value of a readily available paper currency? Unless someone specifically wants that bill and can't get it (maybe from another country). But they should really be aware that it isn't anything worth more than face value. If they are ok with paying "whatever " for it, that's on them. But they shouldn't be led to believe it is actually worth more than it is. Thanks!

Hi, I've plenty of those 2 dollars bills but I'm wondering they worth more than $2 ? Wondering how much you are selling them for because I have a bunch of them too and I got them from the bank, for face value. Not really sure whether they are worth anything more than face value to be honest. But still, good luck with your sale if you are planning on doing one.

One of the best possible investments. Either 1) you get to sell them for a profit and make money or 2) you don't get to sell them and you lose absolutely nothing since they're still worth face value. That said, I've never heard of anyone paying above face for any other than very rare ones, but the same can be said about quarters, pennies, etc. as well.

The comments here are misleading...they are worth $2. You can get them anywhere, if they were discontinued maybe but even then there is so much in circulation that would even be a stretch. Save it, spend it, invest with it, or gamble it....just as you would with your other fiat

I don't know off the top of my head which bills are rare, but I know some $1s, for example, are worth hundreds of thousands because of specific serial numbers and stuff. Or misprints.

i guess op is selling the serial number. if the serial number is kinda exotic (for instance the digit is 22222222, 12345678), then it could be very valuable, for the collectors they might buy op's note at least $5 for an example.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded i am not really active for some reason
