Besides playing the game, I would recommend watching prof. games of tier 2-3 teams.You will start to see the right and wrong things that are being done. And also you will be able to predict winner.

I can call The Alliance is favorite here. But Team Empire has shown vs Team Liquid pretty confident game. If their roster for today will be the same as vs Liquid I prefer bet on them. Also it’s bo5, so harsh series gonna be.

I prefer Newbee because they are better team than NP. But Chinese team always have problems after New Year’s Eve, so not sure here.

I prefer Digital Chaos with odds 1.16 or higher
Digital Chaos has shown good results and hasn’t any roster changes. Execration isn’t such a good team. They couldn’t even be top 1 team in SEA. We remember DC has won Team Faceless without any chances and they were showing better level of play than Execration.

OG hasn’t played after The Boston Major, so I suppose they have enough time to practice in the new patch and prepare for Dota Pit. IG isn’t an easy opponent, they have shown good results recently qualified for DAC, but they are not at the same level as The Boston Major champions.
