I read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169126.0 and a few others like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=156588.0but still don't get it.

I have USD (less than $1k) in my MTGOX that I would like to send $USD  to BTC-E
I can't seem to find a withdrawal button on the MTGOX site.
I can't seem to find how to generate a MTGOX code from my balance.

Can someone help this noob old man with a step-by-step instruction on how to get my $USD OUT of MTGOX (and INTO BTC-E?)

I'm still in verification process on MTGOX, but I should be able to withdraw up to $1000 a day, per the FAQ on that site. I just don't know where the withdrawal function is.

thanks
T

Simplest solution is: buy BTC at mtgox, send these BTC to btc-e. Convert back to USD if needed.

BTC is usually valued less at btc-e, and price can go up/down during the (~1 hour) transfer...

If you want to get something different than BTC, you can deposit money into btc-e, you don't need to use mtgox at all.

Agree with ^ I would imagine you would run into alot of fees converting to USD, transferring, then converting to BTC.  Just buy BTC on MTGOX and send it to your BTC-e wallet.  It'd be nice to get USD because BTC are cheaper there but its probably gonna be the same in the long run.

well, I am about to put some money into bitinstant and fund mtgox, then send those funds from mtgox to btc-e.

One the BTC-E site, to fund my account with USD there are 5 options
Interkassa is in foreign language
OKpay is for euros?, and I'm still awaiting verification to clear
Bitinstant:
Quote
Automatic deposit from another exchanges (MtGox, Bitstamp etc).
I think the above instructions is what I'm trying to do

Liqpay
Quote
If the amount to deposit more than 50 USD - send private message to support, for details
BTC-e support is unresponsive, and perhaps illiterate.
my first request to BTC-E support clearly asked how to fund via liqpay, and resulted in a reply:
Quote
- LiqPay deposit 500$+
1. InterKassa.com
2. Webmoney WMZ https://www.paymer.com (5000$ direct payments) 200$ check
3. Okpay.com
4. Qiwi RUR
* All account deposit occurs within 24 hours
as if that gives me instruction on how to pay with liqPay. I wrote a 2nd request for instruction on funding my account with liqpay, but I'm still awaiting a reply.

Easiest Way I can think of
The easiest way I can think of is to use OKPay.

To withdraw you will lose 1%.
Then to deposit you will lose 1% transaction fee + 2% deposit fee on BTCe.

So 100% => 99% => 98.01% => 96.05% of your original amount
So from $1000 you should get $960.50 in BTCe.

If you don't have an okpay account, you can get one for free.
Please use my referral link if you do, it costs you nothing but benefits me Smiley
https://www.okpay.com/?rbp=961864581

Second Route:
Convert to bitcoins
If you convert this to Bitcoins at current exchange rate on Mt.Gox
$1000 => 5.34 Bitcoins After fees (current rate is about $187/btc on gox).

Sending that to BTCe => 5.33 Bitcoins after the 0.01 fee.
Current Rate on BTCe is about $176/btc. So 5.33 will get you $936.20 after fees.

Hope I helped!

--------- edit -------

I read a couple more posts just above ^^

if your money is not already in Mt.Gox and it is in say a bank account, you can fund BTCe in USD via Wire Transfer in OKPay. I am not sure what the fees are but OKPay says "Bank commission fee charged, deposit can take up to 2-4 business days.".

Well, looks like I can't do shit until MTGOX or OKpay verify me.

or until btc-e support gets their head out of their ass and sends me a reply with how I can fund with LIQPAY

When you spend the Bitcoin Debit card from OKPAY, what exchange rate do they give you at the time of transaction?
