Currently the services section is quite polluted with "Do x and get $1" tasks, or something along these lines which seem to be quite popular.
The thing is, I visualise the services section to be one displaying actual services a user supplies (Be it web scraping, coding, or looking for these skills), not just asking people to do different easy things.
We should seperate the board into actual "Services" and a "Tasks" or "Easy Tasks" or "Quick Tasks" board.

Sounds like the tasks done is Neobux and Clixsense. Tasks that involve a simple research to editing and sign up. It's a good idea but the question is how many do we have out there willing to pay in Bitcoin for tasks like that. I see some tasks posted a few months ago about retyping a document in exchange for BTC and its a good start. Theres a lot of them out there willing to do tasks for BTC but how many are willing to pay in BTC but again it's a good idea.

I guess you mean something like Fiverr and SEOClerks ? that could be a good idea If there is enough demand for it. I use from time to time the services section for this kind of tasks and making a dedicated section for this kind of tasks could really make things easier for both who wants to get hired and who wants to get a job done . (the name should be "Quick tasks" If I had to choose one)

What I'm saying is that there are tons of people paying for these little Jobs. Maybe we can put these threads in a seperate board, because at the moment they take up slots on the services board which I believe should be taken by actual SERVICES, not TASKS. How about "Paid Tasks"?

Yes, Services is currently a mess. From the signatures campaign threads that are constantly being bumped up, over the micro payments for X task, to the payment of Y after registration and deposit at Z (which is essential paid referral/affiliate). Something should be changed. How about "Paid Tasks"?
IMO micro payment tasks should go into micro payments (even though they are services).

I think that they should belong in services. After all, a task is exactly the same as a service offered, right? A signature campaign is a task to be completed, and so are the other paying xx btc for xx sign up sort of things. I just don't see the need to change right now. Is there a constant stream of spam coming from those topics? I don't think so.

IMO micro payment tasks should go into micro payments (even though they are services). Maybe signature campaigns or other kind of campaign should get a separate section since we see some newbies asking where that section can be found and also as you mentioned they get bumped up more often when they are asking for new ones to promote and for simple messages to say payment is already sent.

IMO micro payment tasks should go into micro payments (even though they are services). Micro earnings section ? Everyone have the assumption that the section is used for faucets only and I don't think It would be wise to use it for something else at this stage because people will probably continue to post in services as ME section is a mess with all the bumps and that would make the new threads (about tasks) pretty invisible. Maybe signature campaigns or other kind of campaign should get a separate section since we see some newbies asking where that section can be found and also as you mentioned they get bumped up more often when they are asking for new ones to promote and for simple messages to say payment is already sent.
There is definitely not enough signature or social media campaigns (even If there is , they come to an end after a small a few weeks/months , only a few lasts for a longer period of time) so making a new section is useless .

Not necessarily. I believe the services section is to be used for a user or company to provide or request services. A signature campaign may be requiring users to post, but this is a job (or task), not a service. I just don't see the need to change right now. Is there a constant stream of spam coming from those topics? I don't think so.
Not spam per se, but inappropriate use of board slots. There are so many of these tasks that are easy to complete and pay a couple of bucks that attract the mobs of desperate users. This events to these threads (like Lauda said, signature campaigns, tasks or spammy topics in general) being bumped to the top repeatedly, pushing actual services that are scarce, like looking for a developer or mod, someone offering their visual design skills, or someone offering their coding service. Maybe signature campaigns or other kind of campaign should get a separate section since we see some newbies asking where that section can be found and also as you mentioned they get bumped up more often when they are asking for new ones to promote and for simple messages to say payment is already sent.

I find that response surprising. Near the start of the year, just after bitmixer became CFNP, pretty much the only open campaign was YoBit, and i could literally see the spammers in distress. It was hilarious. Now, tons of altcoin and normal bitcoin sig campaigns are open and thriving, paying more than ever. But I don't think signature campaigns should have their own board, because this will basically be a message that the forum and it's mods+admins openly support campaigns, which mostly contribute to spam.

Although I support your suggestion (which it makes everything well organized than it's now), It's highly unlikely that there would be any added sub-board to services board since there's isn't enough active threads for such cases, considering when there was a similar proposal for signature campaigns (with more active threads), it never got implemented.

I just suggested this so the Services section is more neat. The thing with signature campaigns, is that there is alot of controversy surrounding them. If admins were to make a board for Sig campaigns, it would piss some people off. I don't see this with separating task payments.

This, I agree with. Services should not be filled to the brim with menial tasks that reward the users with 5 cents, or something ridiculously small. Sign-ups and things of that variety don't qualify as services in my book. Actual work (software, translations, etc.) would belong in those sections. I find that response surprising. Near the start of the year, just after bitmixer became CFNP, pretty much the only open campaign was YoBit, and i could literally see the spammers in distress. It was hilarious.

This is something I disagree with. Creating a board strictly for signature campaigns does not mean that mods and admins condone campaigns. It simply shifts the threads to another location, which could clear up spam. After all, we have another example - the Investor-based games section. Just because they created a section for that does not mean that BCT staff condones ponzis and HYIPS - they simply created that section to avoid flooding the Gambling section with threads of this kind.
However, despite this, I'm not sure about the creation of such a section. Is there enough traffic to justify leaving the raw Service threads by themselves in a section? (It may be empty, much like the Marketplace section - which most people probably haven't even found yet!)

From definition of services,we have : the action of helping or doing work for someone. satisfies the current section if you understand in what context it's implied. We should seperate the board into actual "Services" and a "Tasks" or "Easy Tasks" or "Quick Tasks" board.
Separating signature campaigns would make sense but this is not necessary yet.

Alternative coins (or ICOs) signature campaign belong to the Alts section even If it's related to signature campaigns which means that only the ones that pays with BTC should be moved into this section (If we make any) so It won't t even take 2 pages from the board and that would make it useless.

A lot of people are pissed that there's a ponzi sub. A lot of people are pissed we don't moderate scams. A lot of people are pissed when we delete their ref links or spam threads. I don't think theymos operates on the opinions of others.

Whilst not necessarily against it (or a board for sig campaigns), they're still Services, and there isn't really that many people actually offering proper jobs or whatnot in the first place. The sorting of these threads will greatly clear up any confusion a newbie or perspective service provider may have when using the forum. I could go as far to say the current clutter is keeping them away. Currently all that's at the top is "Do X for Y" and signature campaign threads. But I don't think signature campaigns should have their own board, because this will basically be a message that the forum and it's mods+admins openly support campaigns
Do the staff and admins 'openly support' ponzis? Sure, ponzis are more or less illegal and create a negative impact on the forum, but it's common knowledge that theyre dangerous and there's even am alert. Signature campaigns have a much more localised impact, and what are you going to do, put a message up saying "Join a campaign at your own risk - they contribute to spam on the forum"? Same thing with task threads. If admins were to make a board for Sig campaigns, it would piss some people off. I don't see this with separating task payments.
