Some cool stats at:

http://www.sharenator.com/w/bitcoin.org

Looks like the Russians are particularly interested. I'm guessing it's because they're both highly technological and also have experienced immense monetary corruption under the government there.

I was thinking it would be interesting to have a poll asking people's gender. Then I realized that one option might be all that was needed.

Well according to that demographics section, we're all brown-haired, pale-skinned, shirtless dudes wearing jeans.  Wink

And poltical collapse and breakup as a direct result.  Now it's our turn.  No empire ever lasts forever....

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Automated web demographics are at best a wild guess. I'm a member of the 0.0% 45-54 age category, for example.

It counts only registred Yandex users. btcex.com users mostly russians and each of four russians have an account on Yandex. (Yandex is like Google in Russia.)
