Ok, I quickly looked through the Bytecoin home page, but don't understand the advantage of Bytecoin over bitcoin.

If it's only because it is cheaper to mine, then the exchange rate vs Bitcoin will surely reflect this and so this advantage goes away.

Care to enlighten me about why you're interested in Bytecoin?
