can i get 6770 or 7770 to run on XP, or do i need linux?

is there a linux guide to mining for 7xxx series cards?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

What's the performance differences or newer card limitations on XP?  I have all Win 7 boxes now, but if I built others I would consider XP, but trying to install the driver and failing, I just switched gears.  Can you sucessfully run a multi-7970 setup on XP with the age of the drivers you can install?
