Unless proven otherwise, all online investment schemes must be considered a ponzi. To be proven otherwise means the scheme is transparent not only about how it makes money but all monies invested and profit and loss graphs.

To my limited knowledge, the only transparent businesses online that offer bitcoin investments are casino bankrolling and exchanger services.

Casino bankrolling seems to me the most transparent and can be verified by the investor.

I haven't tried to put any amount to any cloud mining services but I am almost on the situation where I really want to do it and fortunately it didn't happen thanks to some friend on facebook who told me to avoid these kind of investments because it is surely a scam which is true and he also helped me to determine whether it is a scam or not . at first you may have the chance to get some profit it and after getting your ROI you should stop putting your money but what is worst is that you haven't get your ROI and these PONZI turned into scam .

We should be skeptical regarding any too good to be true scheme. For example, BitcoinTalk's signature campaigns seemed fake for me but I researched it and found out it's real so I came here and started posting for money. It's a great thing: you earn money and you also have fun. Cloud mining websites are fake (most of them), and you can see that no such business resisted for more than an year except the only real ones that you can count on.

I found the scammer get money to easily in the profit of the ignorance of people, they promise you the moon that if your invest your money, you will get a good return in a few days as an example. Always newcomers will be convinced to try those programs, so the wheel will continue and scammers will continue to make money.

From the name, cloud mining it seems it will make you think twice to invest in it. NO real hardware for mining but only in servers? How they can earn a moey to pay their clients? It is really a scam in the long run. Also be aware of those HYIP's now they evolve into a game where you can buy something like a building and will double your money. Be careful.

it is already the case today. a lot of Ponzi hiding behind cloud mining. even some time ago there was someone who lost a lot of bitcoin as a Ponzi system. better buy hardware miner. I highly recommend.

If "get out ASAP" means having to find another unsuspecting sucker to buy your shares/hashpower, then I would consider that unethical and draw the line there. However I'd have no problems selling them back to the company.

all of the cloud mining and ponzi is a scam, it is impossible to generate huge amount of money in short time, so if you had been offered a cloud mining contract or ponzi, it is better to stay away no matter how old is the site, so if you already invest and you suddenly realized it is a ponzi or cloud mining, you need to get out ASAP

Why we should invest our money if we already knew that its a ponzi from the start? It seems like doing a suicide and you cant guarantee yourself that you could able to make profits even you put in from the start. Chances of having profits is slim and you cant get out as early as always.

I know the ROI of most cloud mining sites is impossible to achieve with mining alone. I've recently invested a small/safe amount into a new site and I'm literally watching my balance grow. That is why I post this question.

yes its good to get out asap from that cloud mining but if we get out asap, we can't take our investment and i think its worth to watching our balance grow and if we reach the minimal amount to withdraw then we should withdraw it and wait for the other minimal amount, until we reach ROI. i think we should search the info about the site and read the review before we make investment on that site and only make invest for the money we are ready to loss in someday.

Its possible to do such steps but doesn't even guarantee to make money because some closes for a short period of time on which our investments are haven't reach out the roi yet even we are compounding our profits it may work for longer operations but this is the risk that we should really take if we intend to do such techniques to earn smartly from Ponzi sites.

depends on what you want to do. be part of the scam and scam other or just participate and hope you will only hurt the scamer, which is not very likely.
but who cares about ethics. it is money we talk about and as far as i have observed in my life time ethics is not important.

My U2cloudmining system  is (for few people) a suspected ponzi.

I'm sure among them some have spent time (you can now only spend time) thinking it will run at the start and then will collapse.
But unfortunately for them it is not a ponzi and can not collapse...

It is now runing with profit for over 1 years...and of course can not collapse because the system is uncollapsable (lol)

the most important thing that you are forgetting here is that you know or even suspect something is fishy and invest you are taking a huge risk and that risk is that the site can close down at any second and even if you have gained some profit in a couple of payments when they run away your investment goes with them.

How do you even profit off of cloud mining sites, as in, really? Most of these sites keep your investments for a given time frame before they release it or let you withdraw it. The only profitable cloud mining site that I could remember so well is cex.io in which you could use your hash power to trade, not unlike most cloud mining sites which only gives you "contracts" or "commitment".

Since HashOcean? Cloud mining was suspicious from the very beginning. All that drama surrounding mining companies didn't start with HashOcean at all.
Just give up on everything cloud mining related - you can't profit from it anymore.

It may work for some people but not all could able to get this kind of method it might work and timing would be really essential on this thing. Possibility of making money is there but the risk involved is very high if you can take the risk then you should proceed but if not then dont bother to put your money. You would really waste it and its better to save it.

Cloud mining now are considered as high yield investment although there are exceptions when they are very transparent like showing us the videos of their mining rigs and a full description of the location.

But if these things are absent you should treat it hyip and get out when you are get your back with small profit
