Bitcoin Ocho is the solution to the Bitcoin scaling debate. Ocho is a fork of Bitcoin pre-segwit, and with the blocksize hard set to 8MB. This will allow Bitcoin to scale to a level needed to bring in all the under served people of this world. We all know Bitcoin has a scaling problem, and Ocho is here to save that. Bitcoin Ocho will create the next two million new crypto currency users.

Bitcoin Ocho also sees a problem with the centralization of Chinese mining, and companies like BitFury, BigFurry, and BitMain having a monopoly over ASIC manufacturing. Due to this, Bitcoin Ocho replaces the SHA-256 proof-of-work algorithm with OCHO-256, an alternative in house developed proof-of-work mining algorithm. OCHO-256 is ASIC and GPU resistant due to it's changes, meaning CPU mining is the only option. This will allow hobby miners and the average joe to have a part of the network - unlike with Bitcoin currency. This will drive true decentralization back to mining.
