Komodo will be tradable as soon as the ICO swap and Election are over. The SuperNET has been working on some great updates s and the notary node team is preparing for a "final" thorough update.
However if you are interested in buying KMD, I am able to sell some. I am currently on the testnet mining as a notary node so I'm able to send to your Komodo address.
Another option would be to buy BTCD and wait for the swap. I think that's a better option because you get the REVs.
