I made a mistake (or 2)... I had a wallet that i typically use, and a backup of said wallet, on an external hardrive. I plugged in this extra hardrive, sent 6 btc, and disconnected the drive and the internet, before any confirmations went through... Since this time, on my other wallet, it sees the 0 confirm of the 6 btc, but it never goes through!

In an effort to resolve this, I tried to connect the other harddrive, and have it re-synched with the blocks; but it ended up thinking I only had like 35 btc, though I had 135...So i promptly unplugged it, and used my typical wallet, which had the right amount still...

are they gone forever?

from blockchain.info the earliest transaction i can find is

where you received 14BTC

from what i understand your using 2 copys of the same wallet??
youve tried a resync on you backup wallet and its made things worse

both wallets will be using the same blockchain stored on your main computer at
C:\Users\Windows 7\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin

theres 2 options back up you wallet before this though just incase something goes bad.
you could go to the file location and delete or move to a different file
blk0001.dat
blk0002.dat
blk0003.dat
blk0004.dat
blkindex.dat

and let the whole blockchain re download from the network

or try yet another resync

This was exactly what I had done. I went into the external drive from where I originally sent it, and deleted those BLKs.dat... But what resulted when it resynched, was it thought i only had like 30 btc...

Also, the total amount of BTC in my wallet, had accounted for the 6 btc sent (on my normal wallet). Though, without any confirms.
