Testing the site and trying to ensure all is up to date for the launch on the 28th. We are reviewing Newbie section information and ensuring all coin modules are up to date.

GRN / OZC donations are due in on the 28th so we will aim to be live by around 20:00 GMT.

BTC still needs funding but we are just waiting for the funds to be released it top it up.

If you're running this like a faucet site, you'll want to consider highlighting the Big 4 (BTC, DOGE, LTC, ETH) as faucet users will be able to add to their lists. But I understand you're also going for exposure for other ALTs so you might want to feature a new ALT each week, with perhaps 4 others highlighted each month.

If just getting more alts out there to more people is the main objective, then the above should work.

Be wary that you will have to implement very good anti-bot systems. This is the #1 reason faucets fail.

Thanks.

We reached out to the DOGE community and LTC community quite a bit back but had no feedback or support off them, the coins present on the site now (Besides BTC of course) all showed their support with feedback and donations. After launch we'll reach back out to different crypto communities and see if they provide feedback then and if they would like to be on the faucet.

Thanks for your feedback. During the first few months all claims will be manually paid while we test and enchance our spam/fraud systems. After that their performed will be closely monitored

Tomorrow is the first day you launch, I hope this project will last a long time, and with the addition of many new coins that joined the signature campaign in this forum. I disagree with the faucet concept (at least there are other things like bounty of social media), but it doesn't matter, live updates with sub forum on your site, To enlarge the community.

Good job brother.

Thats nice idea. I have a doubt. Is this a different type of faucet? Why you are giving anybody money for free? Who is going to fund you?
If you are going to use ads it will become a faucet with different style. Whats your profit in it if you are going to give free money to anyone?
Acually why you are doing this and what is your actual aim behind this site? Or its just like any other faucet with a different or unique style with multicurrency option? Anyway your idea is good ,hope you will get a lot of visitors. All the best for your new project.

Yes a faucet is simply a device that controls the flow (Of water yes!) - First we will launch the site and second we will implement our ideas for generating revenue - This ideas will come - be detailed and be implemented - watch the project  Grin

I'm really waiting for this site to be launched, and finally today is the day. Hooorraaay! Congrats @batesresearch. I visited your site and ofcourse tried it. It looks and works good even in mobile, I like its responsiveness (though the logo becomes small). I tried claiming BTC, and it went through smoothly I guess because it mentioned success but I haven't received a confirmation email yet. I'll just wait and see

jhenfelipe - Thanks! We took authentication off the site last night so anyone could visit it - We didn't announce it but I thought we would wake up to some claims  Grin - Nothing has been announced yet (Via Social media etc - I was waiting for the funds from one of the Devs)

Did you receive your email? Seems we have a delay on them being sent out

We are having issues with BTC claims being sent via the wallet but I am working on that. It seems all the testing in the world works ---> site goes live ----> things don't work!. We did give ourselves a 24Hr window to send claims so time to work on it.

Yes, I noticed that there is no announcement yet and for sure many users are waiting.

No, not yet. I just checked my email mins ago.

Aah I see, good thing that you already knew the issues and start fixing it. For me, no worries since I'm just excited to see how things will work in the site. Anyway, goodluck to you and your team.

We have been working on our background output, we are happy to announce that (most) of the backend issues have been ironed out (None of the background issues affect the front end eitherway!)

Please visit CryptoGiveAways.org and claim some free Bitcoin, Diamond, Granite, Ozziecoin, Einsteinium and OK!

Our Bitcoin payments will be sent in bulk - at set intervals.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for everyone's input!

Most of the activity is going to plan on the site but after the first batches of BTC claims were sent yesterday we have noticed that they still aren't confirmed. So it seems all altcoin claims are working fine but BTC processing isn't!

Updated - 21:11 29th Jan
Ok, we have got to the bottom of the issue and me not keeping up to date with the latest developments and a switch from a custom set up wallet (Due to a system crash!!) have caused this issue!

The claims sent yesterday were:
16 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 6465d754f3fd510b2bcf73869b7442a7e329b6207a84e26d59d339fffa1582b1 @ 2017-01-28 12:18:03
18 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 57cc2b51ed9141a29a68bca3283d424669f178bca2085220f1aa6b1defad4e85 @ 2017-01-29 01:30:35

These are deemed as below the standard dust limit and due to this they might not (Some miners do have a lower limit but most don't) be picked up by a miner (So most likely won't be confirmed and thus the claimant wont receive their claim).

So we are implementing a quick fix! Any BTC claims since launch and so fourth will be collected and stored in our DB with a counter - each time you claim with the same EMAIL and BTC address this will be added to our DB and after 10 claims we will issue the payment (This will bulk our payments together so they won't be classed a 'dust' and thus will be confirmed on the network!

great idea mate ...

but this 'dust factor' is going to continue due to the very small amounts being supplied via the btc daemon ...

what do you think would be a better workaround to this? ...

Hey,

Us paying the claims as a bulk (Grouping the 10 claims together) will gives us room to be above the standard coded minimum relay fee and should hopefully resolve this issue.

yup - would be feasible if that is the case ...

though would take longer to payout though wouldnt it? ...

Yep! That's the issue (Well not exactly an issue but more an unwanted outcome of this issue arising!)

We have updated the site (front-end) to notify claimants of this - People are still submitting claims for BTC as we speak so all seems good.
