Some anecdotal evidence that OpenCL support has improved for mining purposes. robin1979 is seeing speeds on par with Windows and Linux.

According to me, I had almost a 20% increase after switching to Lion.
I don't remember the exact numbers anymore, I just know it was beneficial Smiley

Mind posting numbers for your current setup (vid card, Mhash/s)? We could at least compare to people with the same MBP that haven't upgraded yet.

Thanks.

I’ve noticed the opposite with Lion Dev. Prev. 4 Update 1. I’ve got a 10% decline.

Which miner and hardware are you using? Thanks.

My guess is that this has something to do with Apple pulling back Java development. Are you using Diablo by chance?

Java is still available, just as an "extra" download no Lion.

I'm currently using phoenix 1.48 and my Macbook Pro with an AMD Radeon HD 6750M GPU is hashing at 67-68 MH/s on the dev preview 5 of Lion

Java will always be available in some form or another. I'm just wondering if it is going to languish as Apple has been fairly clear about not spending time on it.

Mind testing Diablo and see how it compares? Thanks.
