How Long Should We Tolerate It?

Before I start,I want to make it clear that I am agaist eye for an eye kind of treatment but I feel very sad that we Indians seems to be the soft target for those haters.
Recently I started a thread in Service section and this gentleman made this stupid comment https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1713789.msg17177961#msg17177961
Although I didn't reply him back and tried to report his post but couldn't due to some error.
I felt very sad that nobody can say same about other nations without going unpunished.
How long we indians should tolerate such stupid behavior?Does being a peace loving mean one should not react to insults as well.?

Don't worry, it is against the rules here and moderators do watch it.
They will deal with the same, and I think the comment that you were talking about, got deleted by some of the mods here.

I too noticed that comment and you shouldn't take these trolls seriously. The Politics section is filled with racist comments. Just report them and they'll get deleted if it's just a personal attack and off topic. It's not only Indians who are targeted on this forum

Just don't take it seriously dear... sometimes it happens. From the day I have joined bitcointalk, here I notice that all the moderator, senior member and legendary are very nice, friendly and co-operative here.. so, they take care of every happenings here.

Yes you are right there are many moderators across boards which are helpful in case you have doubts or queries and ready to help you. Only thing is that they do take time in response as probably they would be flooded with different queries it seems so.

Racists are there to spread hatred, but with that said, we do have the power too to report such comments related to racism or are anywhere related to flaming, or like adding fuel to the fire by saying anything, threatening, etc. So, don't worry because as erikalui said, there are not just Indians who are targeted here, and people spit out hell lots of bullshit when they get such chance to.

In this forum have few racist they actually don't like others country people and their English they think why we can not write like them.they don't think English is not our first language.If you feel the conversation is turning into an argument, stop and take a breath. If you become emotional it will be more difficult for you to respond, so it is best to try and stay calm. Stay safe! Be safe!

I suggest there should be neg ranking for abuser,known racist etc also.
Hurting someone emotionally is equally worse like cheating someone financially.
What do you guys think about this,should frequent abusers and racist be given negative trust?

Mate Internet is full of haters and you cannot take anyone's word seriously unless you really have to. I cannot see the post now so it seems like it has been deleted by the mods. Just ignore most of the hate and only look for constructive criticism if you can find any. Have a good 2017.

It is not that easy to fight over these things online ,the best possible way is to ignore those or report those to a moderator who could determine what should be done and i am not sure whether they are profiling you because you are from India, but i have seen these kind of behavior towards people from India in several other sites but if you are good to deal with then you wont have any issues in my experience .

Yes right.The abusive comments has been reported and consequently got removed.evrything is sorted now.Hope it never happens  again

This is nice as everything is sorted now and new year a new beginning. So can we actually get this thread closed as now its being a past and not a good memory to carry forward in 2017. So appreciate it if we can get it closed and hope this does not happen again.

I am Russian. But you know man. I am trying to work with Indians for a 4 times. All time with you guys have problem when time come for payment or money. Naturally I got for you is not very good impression. One day I met one Indian guy in Rio de Janeiro. I said for him everything 'good' what I think about you guys after my experience. He said "Yeah we have this problem in my country sometimes I am in IT don't receive my salary". So I had IT company and have very bad experience to work with Indians, hire Indians, colobrate with Indians...

I am not hate you guys. But about money questions "Keep far away from me Indians"

Hate it when people stick to stereotypes about our country even without doing proper research about the topic. I mean it drives me mad that they intend to hurt the integrity of another nation with a stereotypical issue.
