Chase, would you say that this is positive news for bitcoin? I think that it just strengthens it, firstly we have more nations in the world supporting it and more international  businesses participating in BTC.

“This consortium is the first case in South Korea where multiple financial firms make use of blockchain. It will contribute to the realization of the essential value of blockchain and maximization of the convenience, security and efficiency of financial transactions.”
This quote makes me happy, this means that we are not having some mickey mouse businesses but actual financial firms take part in BTC in South Korea where BTC is gaining popularity since South Korea is a very technologically advanced country.

I do think it is positive news for bitcoin. With 40% of corporate executives having zero to little knowledge about blockchain, it is important that they start innovating and collaborating to see how it can fit into their business. Even if they are promoting a private blockchain, a lot of them will see first hand what the limitations are of doing so. I also believe when they finally 'educate' themselves on the subject, they will understand why bitcoin / cryptocurrency deserves their respect.
