Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure you are referring to the faucet which pretty much most bitcoin gambling websites have. If they don't have the faucet then they have some type of demo money.

Sometimes its annoying when there is a new website and to try the website out you have to create an account with your username and email. But those sites usually still have some type of faucet you can use to try out the site before you send out your deposits.

Why do you need to add some play money on particular site if there is no use of that coin? There is already some faucet which can give you a real profit if you are luck. Almost all casinos I know have an option that you can play with play money. Also in crypto-games where ther is a dice game, tho I am not sure if playmoney can be used in dice also.

no i don't think the play money that he means are not refer to faucet, play money are just play money if you gamble regularly in fiat casino sites you will know what exactly it is, the play money allow people to try the game for fun without staking your money.

that is why called play money instead real money, mostly you will find something like this in a poker sites like full tilt etc.

If you are referring to dice, I'm sure most of dice sites give you a small amount of btc  through the faucet to try the game. But if you are referring to casinos game like slots, I also think that most sites has the "Fun Mode" where you can try the game with fake money.

Having play money on a certain gambling website is also a good idea on which you could able to test their site without any limitations just like on using the faucet amounts but i dont think that gambling sites would really tend to do this stuff since you could able to test it out on to their faucet.

this is a good suggestion.
you can only find the faucet on dice sites and many other games don't have that, and even a faucet is not enough. if there could be some kind of a demo mode which you could just play and test the games first in any type of gambling game without any limit that would help people get to know the games first and test them out before they do it with real money.
it is also helpful for testing strategies with no risk whatsoever.

I used to play fortunejack they have play money over there. But, what's the point? Usually play money wins a lot more than regular deposits (I'm not sure and don't really have proof of it, but I just noticed back then). You don't get anything from play money why not just play with faucet money. Yeah it has been a basic feature in every gambling sites ( a casino usually)
There is free money to try out the game incase the players not yet sure about how the game works
But the thing make interesting is where in bitcoin gambling sites lik dice sites they are offering faucet ( not play money ) it's real money but has very low value

That play money is small and you can't state if the whole game is nice and good in just a short time of playing.

Instead, a welcome bonus is much better and also deposit bonus with tier levels and really different from the offers usually placed by the gambling site. Of course while playing, there is some few satoshis rewarded in a given period of time.

If you want to play for fun then don't do gambling. There are other ways to make you fun without risk.

It's a good option but there are already gambling sites did that but still not succesful in getting more gamblers in their site.

And I see if they will put some play money there, winnings is also play one and not a real money. It's just for testing how the gambling game works. I think a continous claim in faucet is better like 500 satohis every hour or something like that and not just because you can claim it whenever a gambler's balance is depleted. Of course it has some terms applied to prevent abuse.

Some of casino and site has that kind of feature, but for me I prefer the site has faucets than play money, if you play using play money you can't exchange it to bitcoin while playing using faucet you are playing with real bitcoin and playing with faucet will be more excited, if we know that we are playing with no risk of losing then we will get bored
