Hey, just wondering if anyone has any information regarding the legality of making trades on BTC-e from the US. I know there are various laws in place but not sure what applies or where to find them. I have heard that it isn't illegal to trade virtual currencies but maybe the issue arises when converting to dollars? Any information will be helpful.

I doubt that there is anything illegal relative to the US as long as you keep detailed accounting records and pay taxes on any gains. Tongue
