Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The fact that you hid the links to Bitcoin's website and the download links for the Windows client but no the Mac client makes me suspicious.

You are using short-links/urls to forward to bitcoin's website and the download sites. It's not a requirement, but I wouldn't trust short-links/urls. If I where to go to my banks website, I wouldn't want to click on someone else's url.

might scale back the ads and consider using adfly for redirects. more user friendly and less abrasive IMO.
