My 2017 predictions

Here are some altcoins that I think it could be a good move to have in 2017. It would be nice to recheck in say, 3 months (march 2017) what is my success rate. I will explain how I would distribute in % of holding I would go. (So for example, I have 1000$ to invest, if I say I would go 10% on this one, then it's 100$)

1) ETH

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.01 BTC  or 7,90$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 7.13$
Yes ETH price dropped a lot, but it seems now that the drop is over. It could go back to 1 000 000 000$ marketcap but of course I'm not all in for this one. Let's say 20%


2) Bitcoin

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 783$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 967$
Not that much to say, it's the king and since the halving in july 2016 that price is still rising slowly, but I don't expect it to double, so a safe bet. Another 20%


3) Monero

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.0108 BTC  or 8,48$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 13,72$
Stay solid at over 100 000 000$ marketcap, could go easy to 150 000 000$ marketcap again. Another 20%


4) Blackcoin (BLK)

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.00003396 BTC  or 0.0266$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 0.027$
This one is a different strategy. It seems to always oscillate between 2 000 000$ and 3 000 000$ marketcap. So right now it's time to buy and watch when a pump occur and then resell for profit (just before 3 000 000$) Another 20%


5) ESPERS (ESP2)

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.00000055 LTC  or 0.000001996$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 0.00000298$
Ok this one is more for a homerun or nothing. It cost nothing, so risk is very low. If it gains attention it will enter BTC market and more exchange. So an easy X10 on this one if this occurs. so 10%


6) Litecoin LTC

Price this moment (2016-12-16): 0.004633 BTC  or 3.63$
UPDATE 2016-12-28: 4.61$
Not that much to say, it's the alt that bring them all, seems like it ain't dead. so 10%


So in my example, with 1 000$ as of today (2016-12-16) I would get:

20% in ETH so 25.3165 ETH
20% in BTC so 0.2554 BTC
20% in XMR so 23.58 XMR
20% in BLK so 7518 BLK
10% in ESP2 so 50 100 200 ESP2
10% in LTC so 27.54 LTC

UPDATE 2016-12-28:
ETH holding is now (25.3165*7.13) 180.50$
BTC holding is now (0.2554*967)    246.97$
XMR holding is now (23.58*13.72)   323.52$
BLK holding is now (7518*0.027)      202.99$
ESP2 holding is now (50100200*0.00000298) 149.30$
LTC holdin is now (27.54*4.61$) 126.96$
Total: 1230.24$

The present situation is pretty simple, BITCOIN is aiming at 2000$ right now, and everyone know that major alt coin were beeing pumped very high and that can't always go up. So they are now selling for BTC.

My situation right now, I'm at some fresh alts that seems to have good potential and that did not get as massive pump yet. So my major bet is Bitsend for now (BSD) They have about 268 Masternodes running, and each cost 25 000 BSD , so that mean that of the current 14 000 000 (a little more) existing coins, about 6 700 000 are keep under hands that strongly belive in the curency. So that means that if a pump occur, it will jump fast, as there is only a low supply that is trading.

Maybe when the drop in major alts will stop, it will be time to buy back, but today is still unsure, that is why new alts are less prone the be dumped 30-40% down.

For now , I hold 50% in BTC waiting for all of it to settle back.

For this year since from the early 2000s bitcoin has been known for quite some time. However, not all people are capable of investing not only money but trust. The good news is, now is a new era and bitcoin is getting stronger than ever, so I believe it will still prosper.

2018 will be the year where many countries will either make it legal or have some strict control on btc. So it could be a one way either side of upside or may dip if countries start reacting in a negative way for cypto currencies. So I it would be interesting to see the stand taken in 2018 by various countries how it can help or break the btc prices.

it's great that you can predict, though that is not necessarily the case but I am amazed at you for being able to find information that can make you predict the progress of some coins in the future

thats the power of hold. Wish I new about crypto back there. But probably I would sell that coins after they make like 100% or even sell in lose when they drop 10/20%. I'm really excited about upcoming years in crypto space. Wonder what kind of growth we'll see in 2018.

If someone is too lazy, then I'm not too lazy to do it. I looked through all the messages from Nothingbuttmoney and was not even surprised - all the messages you post say about the benefits of this ICO.

This is nice and helpful for us we hope that thats true and before i've buy bitcoin im hope that im earn enough to this altcoins. You have a great idea or this is a great topic because all of bitcoin was increasing another 20% that was great to hear and some of other investor is enough to earn what they assume.

because they're really customer oriented: don't have programming skills - no problem, they don't require it and have so easy interface, afraid of being fooled and don't trust anyone - they have smart contracts platform

so why not promoting this ico? i've read too much to say that this ico i can trust
