Good for you but I lost money in this crap, I could barely salvage a below break even position, lost 25%. I am out from EDG.

I gave back a 200% ROI plus I lost 25% of my initial capital. This sucks.

Well this is an unfortunate set of circumstances too bad I was just about to invest in it to now I won't touch it with a ten foot pole. ETH by itself just seems to be coded together with tape and glue, first the DAO now this whats next another HF to recover lost funds because people can't be smarter with their funds. I mean come on there should be better planning across the project instead of this bs. Developers should always plan on their project being a target to malicious parties and re-enforce security at every turn but no its become a game of lets dump a bunch of money into a pot and see who gets lucky. Only thing what sucks is that a lot of marketing money lost, but EDG can operate for couple years with $3,5 millions they took out before.

Plus 50 million EDG which they will get later.

In worst case scenario they will sell part of their EDG for cheaper than market price and will regains 5 million back.

Surely it's not the end because price now seems like there was nothing happen, maybe the problem is just too small

2017.07.19 — Parity multi-sig wallets written by Gavin Woods (ex. CTO of Ethereum Foundation) got hacked due to a small bug in the code. Technically speaking, this hack put at risk all the Ethereum tokens which are stored in these multi-signatures. Since Parity is an industry standard, that’s almost every Ethereum project and major crypto exchanges.
And it happened!
How large damage is?
At that night, it all got hacked. Most of ‘multi-sig’ wallets got ‘successfully hacked’ by whitehackers.

Gladly we diversified our funds right after an ICO and we have a sufficient amount to run the project. Additionally we got our funds when ETH was 15$ — 50$ per unit and now ETH price is way much higher which covers our hacked loss. It means our platform launch will be happening in Q3. However, we made some changes in our dapp structure. From now it will be purely ran on EDG tokens, since a large part of our ETH was supposed to be our casino’s bankroll.
That means, if players want to gamble on our platform, they will need to get EDG tokens.
What will you do with Gavin Woods and Parity?

Agreed with you EDG will be main currency for this platform instead of ETH but the big fault was into that service provider of multisig. This is horrible to sound but I also EDG will stay strong because it has trusted and very secure code.
