Why we should not use ETH address from any exchange (Coinbase, Poloniex, yobit, bittrex, gatecoin etc) for only that we're not controlling those account with the private key or may be other security issue? And why we should only use that ETH addy whose you are controlling the private key. That's why most of people recommend us to use myetherwallet.com, Jaxx etc.

Yes it's always better to store ETH or Bitcoin to addresses which you control or have access to private key. This is because of mainly two reasons if exchanger goes offline you will loss access to your all ETH/BTC stored there and another one is in past several exchangers/trading platforms have been hacked and all crypto stored in their cold/hot wallet were stolen.

That's why most of people recommend us to use myetherwallet.com, Jaxx etc.

I think both jaxx and myetherwallet are good to use as both are open source so that you can check their whole source code also both of them are client side so nothing will be stored in their servers (as they claim).

If you like to generate ETH address in your computer you can check https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet
Go through process described under Users (non-developers) to run myetherwallet.com code locally in your computer.

all exchange wallet is not good, because you can't full controll your balance
you can't save use private key your balance

and exchange wallet every transaction is long time, you must confirmation withdraw , and someday maintanance and wait to server exchange send your ethereum,

but if you low transaction, or wallet only use saving without transaction send out, exchange wallet is good choice

While controlling your private keys , If the service gets hacked somehow then you can still recover your wallet fast and send to somewhere else and If you are not controlling the private keys and all funds are in one place like the hot wallet of the exchange then the hacker would have access over all the users BTC/ETH/...
I usually use Myetherwallet I'm not much of an ETH user but I use it for TOKENS based on the Ethereum blockchain and It's definitely good and convenient.

using a web wallet and using an exchange for storing coins is the same thing as long as you are not controlling the private keys and also even if you do have the private keys when using a web wallet (like using blockchain.info for bitcoin) it is still not safe because you are online and susceptible to hacks, malware like keylogger,...
and the situation is worse for altcoin web wallets because they have been around less time and also they have far less users which means their bugs are not yet found.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

No doubt, Myetherwallet is the best Ethereum online wallet ever created to store your Ethereum safe and easy. I had never use jaxx, but most review I see here jaxx is good. But the best thing I like on Myetherwallet is the platform can be use for offline transactions.
