We are near 800 this price so it's matter of time now will it be today or tomorrow think that before Xmas we will see 800 price for sure

I thought it reach it already. The price is $7 more than what it was yesterday at $788 when I last looked at it.

The price is still below $800. We need more good news for the price to be over $800. Or it might take a few more weeks.

it's really near that's why im very excited this coming christmas may be by the end of the year we could evenly hit atleast $900 then next year bitcoin could really reach $1000 each. last year bitcoin has a lot of surprises too so im thinking about the same thing that bitcoin could really have a surprises this coming christmas day. i think if we could reach $800 there will be more investors on bitcoin because they will be amazed about the price of bitcoin currency.

I think we just reached $800. Well this is based on the website I exchange coins at and converting the price into dollars, its already $803 already. But looking at Preev though it's still at $789. Which is kinda far from our exchange. I just realized though, that the prices at my exchange are really far from how preev prices it.

So far none of the major western exchanges have reached the $800 level yet, so we'll have to wait a bit more. Bitstamp sits at $794 right now, and Chinese exchanges at $804, so it requires a gentle push from a large player to finally touch the $800 level that so many people have been waiting for. Preev is just basing its price on plenty of exchanges. In that regard, the average price that you end up seeing is always lower than many of the other exchange prices. Bitcoin is a free market, where exchanges can have somewhat of their own price. Look at Bitstamp and BTC-E for example. Bitstamp rate is $794, while BTC-E sits at $780.

800 is not so much a magic number imo. Sure it will probably cuase a small run after breaking through, but it will settle in the low 81x-82x for sure after the run hype dies off.

It is not a magic number, but it definitely is a psychological barrier. Human brains are not fully rational and we tend to value these round numbers. Bitcoin holders will feel slightly richer when the price crosses $800, than they will when the price is hovering at $79X.

The difference between now and 800 is laughable, there is nothing to look forward to about passing 800. Now passing 1200 will be special.

i think you're too rich thats why you called it as a laughable for me just like other user that started from $500 bitcoin barrier this is a great and also very good opportunity for us because we're totally having a great income if its happen. im still looking forward till bitcoin hit $1000 barrier because thats the real deal. just like started from the bottom now we're here lol. maybe quarter year of 2017 this will happen. who knows. there's nothing wrong to dream haha

That's really true, bitcoin is close to 800$ as never before. I'm pretty sure bitcoin wil hit this point in next few days and probably on new year it's going to be 800+$ per 1 BTC. I think that is going to be the best new year present to all bitcoin users.

Bitcoin had already been above and substantially above $800, so it is just making up for leeway. Aside from that, the price could rise above $800 just as easily as it could go down to $750 in a matter of hours. Things seem to be highly unpredictable these days, before Christmas and New Year. yes all possibilities can occur. by looking at the graph at this time then we will see the positive movement of bitcoin. bitcoin prices continue to rise, even the volume of transactions looks very nice. bitcoin is increasingly being used by the world community. I am optimistic it will reach 800USD  at the end of the year.
