Why are there so few millionaires investing in Bitcoin? Millionaires are rich because of their smart investments. If Bitcoin were such a great investment, we would expect more rich people to be attracted, right?

Just because millionaires don't spend their day talking shit on the speculation boards doesn't mean they are not investing in Bitcoin.

Quite an assumption you're making.
The sudden move from $195 to $200 looked very much a (multi)millionaire scooping up 5000 coins.

Millionaires that are say 35+ would not see BitCoin as a wise investment... Millionaires in their 20's probably would.

lulz this +1 Millionaires most likely go through third parties who allocate bitcoins as a position in their portfolio. E.g. take a look at providers like https://exante.eu.

Trust me, there are enough 35+ millionaires who are seeking to invest in bitcoin. Also, there are plenty of 20+ who became millionares because of bitcoin.

Being a millionaire isn't what it used to be a few years ago. Because of inflation, anyone today with a good job and good investments can become a millionaire in a decade.

you wouldn't even notice if millionaires invested - they're likely to put down $10k down not huge amounts and that makes me more confident in bitcoin surviving hacking scares and the like - a lot of people investing small amounts for the long term.

I'm sure they are gradually starting to invest as Bitcoin becomes more widely known and understood.

I'm older than cypherdoc, and while I'm not doing as well as he is (not anywhere near as well), I'm not unhappy. Keep in mind that we boomers did, after all, invent and create the 'net - so it would follow that there's at least a few of us who have a clue...
