Strange behavior in my multibit wallet.

My bitcoins still show. their dollar valuation does not.
I have 2 tickers - virtex and mtgox but only mtgox shows any numbers.
not totally frightening but worrysome. If one thing goes wrong, what else?
please help me resolve this issue, blocks seem to load fine, if a little slow.
I dont know whats wrong here?

Hi gogxmagog,

The currency ticker comes from whichever currency exchange you have set up via HTTP.
Sometimes the server is either overloaded or down (or maintenance or whatever) so it cannot fetch the exchange rate.

That is one of the reasons for there being multiple exchanges, so if one is unavailable you can switch to another.
