Places to Buy Silver at/near Spot?

I am trying to find a place where I can buy some silver at spot. I'm looking at a bulk initial re-investment and am having trouble finding a place where I could buy at or near spot. Does anyone know of any places that sell at/near spot for bulk purchases?

Nice deal, too bad there's a limit. When you're buying in bulk it will add up. I'm trying to find somewhere that sells around .10c-.20c over spot or at spot for bulk.

Vernon coin shop in Connecticut.  That's where I've bought all sorts of junk silver for pretty much near spot.  Don't know where you're located, but local coin shops have some of the best deals on silver.  And Ebay isn't too shabby either.  Good luck to you my good sir.

Dang wish I would of caught that. Silver.com was doing a deal at 69c over spot/oz. Honestly the best price I have found, called all the local coin shops too. Haven't looked into junk silver much. Made a good profit selling for around $20/oz and rebuying.

I have to agree.  There is often silver AND gold that sells below spot.   Look at auctions with short duration and you will often get lucky.

That's brilliant! Buying bullion in the U.K. at spot is near impossible due to VAT and import duties. If only there was a way of getting around that!  (They do have bullion banks/storage facilities which are VAT free but those defeat the purpose of buying precious metals).
Next time I'm in the US I'll be sure to give this a try.
