I bought a Hw.1 in the past, was so happy with the ledger company that i bought the nano s a couple weeks ago...
Hardware wallet : Ledger Hw.1
Review/Feedback : This is one of the cheapest hardware wallets i could find... However, their support was friendly, their thread was updated regularly, ...
The signup process was easy, i used PP to buy the wallet, since i didn't do business with ledger before. The item arrived waaay earlyer than i'd expected, everything was well packaged, really nice.
The only downside was, at that time, electrum integration was still a bit difficult, and required many steps, the wallet software delivered by ledger themselfs (a google chrome plugin) was nice, but missed essential features like fee adjustment, input selection and message signing.
The electrum integration has since improved, so now i used the wallet delivered by ledger whenever i was at friends/family, and i used the electrum integration at home.
Since i no longer needed the Hw.1 (after purchasing the nano S), i gave the wallet to my daughter, she's really happy with it
Hardware wallet : Ledger nano S
Review/Feedback : stand alone, sturdy, fast delivery, friendly support...
The payment process was still really straightforeward. Payed with BTC this time, still very fast delivery and excellent packaging.
The mayor downside is still the same as with the Hw.1 tough: the wallet software still doesn't allow message signing, input selection or fee adjustment (at least, not to my knowledge, i immediately used the electrum integration and i've not visited friends or family and opened my wallet there).
The major upside is the fact that you can now use this wallet for U2F authentication, and i also use it to store some dogecoins and litecoins on the same wallet... I'm hoping for even more altcoins in the future
