and so on.

Is it actually mining and returing values to the litecoin world? i've left it running for hours but see no different to what i see above - no acknowledge message to say block received, block stale etc...

Correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm still new to all this, but... it looks like you're solo mining, which wouldn't get you any notifications (shares, etc.) until you actually solve a block.

Given that you're getting approximately 40kHash/s, and from what I can see at the current difficulty, a combined 350,000 kHash/s seems to be solving blocks at a rate of one every 30-90min on average... I think you're very likely to be waiting a long time for any notification.

Either that or you might have it set up incorrectly. It appears to be mining though.

I'd really recommend you mine in a pool, personally I use: http://ltc.kattare.com/

as mentioned above, solo mining won't give you any message during the mining, and at that speed a pool is really recommended, but don't expect to see more than a 0.1LTC per day

Hi, yes it is solo mining, this is more of a test to make sure my configuration is correct before I introduce a couple of rigs into the mix, more learning/tweaking settings first... And see how I go...

So all apears well? (just not lucky enough to have mined anything yet)?

Been mining on bitcoin but given how hard it's getting thougt I'd change to litecoin, but couldn't find a miner for nvidia cards until now!!!

Interesting you have the same GPU as me!

Can I ask a question - is your GPU Usage actually increasing?

My problem at the moment is cudaminer is using my CPU instead of my GPU  Embarrassed

Not sure for defo! When I tried CPU mining was getting approx 5k hashes per core, on cuda I'm getting 40 reported... Will try and check properly tonight... Doesn't help that I got a second card in there do gotta make sure I'm using the right device!

I'm actually also using a GTX 260. Thanks to harvy for spurring me to tweak the settings. With the new cudaminer build and some more aggressive settings than the ones previously recommended in the readme, I'm getting a few more kH out of the card.

What are your config settings? I'm thinking cudaminer might start loading CPU if it's set to use (GPU) devices that don't exist (and other strangeness).

I was also having some issues running both cores on pooler's cpuminer at the same time as cudaminer with stability, so I've stopped doing that since it was a minor increase anyway. On my second rig I leave one core free for general browsing and stability, which seems to work fine with that more advanced GPU (GTX 670MX).

you have to make a .dat file and put your user login etc inside to be able to mine on a pool

Just so you know, Quadros are performance tuned in a different direction, and none but the most current (Kepler) generation are likely to be as good as the gaming-class card for the same money.

Quadro will not net you much because they really don't have a great number of cores.

My GTX 570 is getting around 165KH according to cudaminer. However, my pool is reflecting around 200 KH

Id recommend this pool as well.  I had issues with the pools that require a proxy with cudaminer.

Defo using the gpu according to TechPowerUp GPU - when its not running GPU load is 0% or 1%, with cuda running its 100%

Wow the latest build (4.10) is worth it, my GTX260 went from:

27.5kH using -l S150x1 (for stability, got 1-2 kH over that with another config but only for a few hours) on the 09apr build.
to
42.5kH autotuned to S24x3 on the 10apr build. We'll see if it lasts the night.

Still not impressive vs. a newer ATI card, but that's pretty incredible improvement

Please be sure to donate to Christian Smiley He is working hard to get more performance out of this for all of us.

I'm also very appreciate of Christian's efforts with cudaminer. Until I can post in the main cudaminer thread, I'll post this here...

I've been following the cudaminer conversation a while, and its getting tough to track card stats with each new version, so I created a public google doc to store any stats you might have.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjMqJzI7_dCvdG9fZFN1Vjd0WkFOZmtlejltd0JXbmc&usp=sharing

Please share on the main cudaminer thread if you are able to post there, and post your card stats and settings/notes.
