On the 21st day of every month, Bit20 runs an algorithm that creates its new composition. By this process, it always includes the most promising coins. Some coins appear in the index and others disappear. Some of them gain weight and other lose some of it.

This new composition swap with the previous one without any disturbance of the index price.

I always thought the hardest part would be for people to actually understand it and some of the comments I see here prove me right.

I guess for some it is hard to think of a truly decentralized project where nobody gets rich lol.

are cryptos made of, but so do I not understand what USD or EUR are made of , than out of thin air, we call economy

Does our economy equal the amount of money distributed, is it a scam..convert your money to physical gold my friend, you just got scammed..USD is down 96 compare to gold

and also can be pushed which would be even cheaper considering that wage

I think for most people try to make out which Crypto will be the ONE, it will be much easier to spend money

If I understand well your question, you're asking me how can you make money with this index fund?

Well, it's similar to the process of making money with an index fund in the "real world" (out of crypto). Or if I simplify the subject even more, it's like making money with Bitcoin ... how do you do that? You trade it against other coins or you buy it and hold it!

You buy the index low and sell it high. You can also short the asset on the platform. Sell it high and buy it back later when it's cheaper. So you can also make money when the index is going down.

The index is traded against coins like BTS or STEEM. They have their own volatility. So, if you spot a moment in time when BTS is likely to go down and BTWTY up, you may double your benefit from the trade because both coins go in an opposite direction.

You can also simply buy the index and wait. The index has now around 300% of the value it has in June 2015 (The index ran privately during 18 months before hitting the public stage).

We can't be more transparent than that. All the explanations on the website aim to allow anyone to understand how the index composition and price is made.
Once you understand it (it's not complicated) you can verify any data on the website or in the decentralised exchange where the index is traded.
All the data is verifiable by anyone. As you will see after reading this explanation, we are 100% transparent and there is no way we manipulate dishonestly our own market. We have built it with that in mind so it's trustless and decentralised.

Open ledger is a decentralised exchange, there is no "delisting" coins like a centralised exchange. What they could if someone would try to scam people with a token on the platform is to have it removed from the gui.
In any case, the token would remain on the BitShares Decentralised Exchange and still have its market alive.
(That was just for some basic information on Bitshares and Open Ledger.)

Now, I know Ronny Boesing, we've talked about Bit20 and he likes the idea.  I'm sure is he very happy with this project because it can bring him more volume on his markets Open.xxx.

It seems that the project is not well understood by everyone. I'm not here to ask money. It's not an ICO, I'm not asking for investments. I'm only announcing the project. Bittwenty is a crypto currency index fund. It's finished and the market is open, available to everyone.
It's a tool in the cryptocurrency world that you can choose to use or not.
