^^^ If you are a "refugee", or act as one, then it is extremely easy to gain entry to the European Union. There is no vetting at all. Just need to pay a small amount to the people smugglers in Tunisia and Libya, who will put you in a fishing boat destined towards the EU.

That's the problem. You need to shoot the boat in EU territorial waters and then refugees will not. All crimes committed solely because of the fact that there is no proper punishment. The violence in this case is justified.

There is a much more viable and practical option. An European Union task force can conduct simultaneous operations in all of the North African coastal cities, destroying the boats and arresting the human traffickers. Without these human traffickers, there will be no illegal immigration through the Central Mediterranean route.

I would agree with that.  But you need to eliminate the human traffickers, not arrest them.  If you start executing them on the spot, that would deter all future wannabes.

I like how you're thinking. Teach em a lesson, kill em. That would certainly deter 90% of the traffickers. There will always be a few that do it anyways and it would make those guys dangerous.

The NPD is no longer a viable force in the German politics. They have lost all their seats in the state parliaments, and even in Eastern Germany they are now polling less than 5% of the vote. On the other hand, it is the moderate AfD, which is securing the anti-immigrant vote.
